Last night, all anyone could really talk about pertaining to the Grammys was Kendrick Lamar’s brilliant performance.

He performed his popular track, “Alright” from “To Pimp a Butterfly,” and tackled a lot of themes regarding the black community such as the high incarceration rate of black men.

While many took to social media to praise Kendrick as an artist, others used the moment as a means to shade Kanye West.

    1. Thank you. People just don’t want to accept that the Kanye we are seeing now is the real Kanye. Who he was a few albums ago is the product of woke writers he no longer works with. So you can’t blame this on the Kardashians. Kanye fits in with them because he’s just like them. They didn’t have to convert him.

    2. True. Kendrick has raw talent, and Kanye for the most part just had a great ear for beats and good taste in writers. I’m thinking his money problems is why he had to part ways with most of them.

  1. The biggest downfall for him besides his mother dying was to loose that close relationship with some of his old friends because of marrying into that K family. Him and Jay Z used to be inseparable. Rhymefest ditched him a month ago. His ego is too big to admit that though. I don’t blame them either for wanting to separate themselves from him. He is now surrounded by Yesmen as opposed to Jay Z who would definitely tell him like it is.

  2. Don’t even like Kim or her gross family but they can’t be blamed for Kanye’s fall. He did it to himself. He got way too arrogant and the whole time he was using writers and had a good team behind him he treated like sh-t. So now those people don’t want anything to do with him. His albums will never be good again.

  3. I just think Kanye’s time on top has passed. It was a good run but when you let your ego get to you and surround yourself with nothing but yes men, you’re bound to lose your spot to someone much more deserving. Kendrick will probably go down as one of the goats. Kanye won’t now because now when we hear his name, we associate him with mental illness and the kardashians. Just my two cents!
