When asked about longstanding rumors suggesting she was difficult to work with during the run of “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” she says:
“Janet Hubert was never difficult on that set. Janet Hubert was always professional and funny. I think Will simply needed to win and I think sometimes when you get caught up in a lie…those things never happened…I ever left the set. We got along great.
“I think he was young and he was inexperienced. And I think he simply had to win and sometimes when you get caught up in a lie…and I went back to them in 2009 and I said please I need you to clear my name. I spoke to JL…my dad died, my father died and I begged them. I had a family. I need you to tell the world this stuff didn’t happen.
“And I was waiting, in my heart I was thinking somebody will come to me one day and help me but they didn’t.”
She also wanted to make it clear that she has no beef with Jada Pinkett-Smith:
“I respect Jada highly. I respect her skill. I respect her as an artist. I respect her as an actress very much.”

This woman is a vindictive, manipulative, and lying attention whore! She has been mad at Will for damn near 100 years over some sh-t I don’t even think he did. He ain’t have power to fire nobody because back then he was just trying to get on his damn self. The producers wanted her gone and that was their right yet she keeps going after Will because she was bitter back then he was the star and she’s still bitter now because of how successful he became. You can tell she’s hard as hell to work with and very confrontational. This little damage control on the Real doesn’t change a thing for me. I’m still not here for her and she can take her bitter a-s on somewhere.
I’m not surprised she’s back pedaling now. Most of us could see right through her and she’s not a damn hero, she’s a bitter old lady who can’t get along with most of the people she comes in contact with. I saw her on FB the other day calling people b-tches for disagreeing with her respectfully. I don’t doubt she was a major pain in the a-s on that set back in the day.
