According to the New York Daily News, Kanye’s latest collection has such sluggish sales that the retailer has been forced to slash prices dramatically:
As he plans his fashion show at Madison Square Garden, Kanye West should bear in mind that you need more than a flashy show to sell clothes.
While the front row for his fall/winter 2015 Adidas Originals collection last February included Jay-Z, Beyonce, Justin Bieber, Kim and North West and P Diddy – not to mention sis-in-law Kylie Jenner on the runway – a Confidenti@l spy rifling through the dregs of the Barneys sale noted a preponderance of deeply discounted pieces from the collection.
Indeed, of the 34 items on the high-end department store’s website, 30 of them are on sale – including the “Destroyed Sweater,” originally $2,600 and now a snip at $1819. More good news for Kanye fans of all sizes – the wool pullover advertised as “destroyed with rips and holes” is still available in all sizes from XXS to XL.
His ego will be his downfall.

The clothes were ugly as f-ck.
Kanye is going through a midlife crisis. He thinks he’s some fashion genius but he’s not. Music used to be his true talent. But he’s lost his way on that. He’s basically just a Kardashian now. Which means the only thing he’s good at is attention whoring.
His clothes look like homeless people wear them he is lucky if anybody buys them. The clothes look like they are worth no more than a couple of dollars if that and he wants thousands of dollars bye Kanye Kardashian.
It’s disappointing to see how Kanye turned out. I’m not even excited about his new album.
He’s been flopping a lot lately.
His clothes weren’t a hit from jump. Literally everyone thought they looked like old rags. The reviews weren’t very good outside of the Kardashian spin machine.
Ummm those clothes look like outfits the characters from “The Walking Dead” would wear…….with that said who in their right mind, who has to get up at the crack of dawn every day to go to a job they barely can’t stand is gonna spend their whole 1-2 week paycheck on that garbage $2600 & $1819 is waaaaaaaaaaay too much for a “destroyed sweater” who is he targeting with these fashions and those prices?
The only time Kanye got fashion right was when he was dressing Amber Rose. It’s been downhill since then.
