According to Straight From the A, the matriarch of the family, Karen “KK” King, allegedly got into it with her ex and sicced her sons on him so bad he almost died.

Family matriarch, Karen ‘KK’ King, is a former “fugitive of the week” and an alumni of the crime show “America’s Most Wanted,” after she was accused in the severe beating of her ex-boyfriend/baby daddy.
The single mother was a wanted woman and was sought by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for kidnapping with bodily injury, aggravated assault and aggravated battery and her two sons, Alonte ‘Scrapp’ Smith and Lyndon ‘Sas’ Smith were also later arrested in connection to the incident.
…Karen ‘KK’ King ALLEGEDLY had her sons Scrapp and Sas, as well as four of their friends, brutally attack Lyndon Baines Smith (Sas’ father) at their Georgia home and ordered them to dump his body across state lines.
Smith was found badly beaten in the trunk of a car that was pulled over by police, who noticed suspicious behavior.
Months after the incident, Scrapp and Sas were arrested on charges of kidnapping with serious bodily injury and aggravated assault and battery, and KK fled.
King was caught a year later after someone tipped off her location to the police and was arrested in Vero Beach, Fla. in April 2013.
…Smith was reportedly treated for serious injuries, including multiple rib and facial fractures, and as a result of the attack, he is now blind in one eye. There are several reports that claim KK’s victim died of his injuries, but clearly those reports were false since he has since spoken out about the incident.
Lyndon Baines Smith hit his facebook account recently to share his outrage about his attackers now being featured on the popular reality show, stating:
I’m sure Mona feels like she hit the jackpot with these people.
Right. I have to say I feel like they’re kind of dry so far. And how many more times will they do the love triangle story on this show?

Ain’t they kin to Stevie some kind of way? Mona has probably been trying to get them for a good minute now. For me their storyline is blah so far.
Yeah the first episode as a whole was boring. But then again we haven’t seen K, Stevie and Joseline yet. That could be why.

Yeah I’m familiar with this family. But it’s still something lacking with them. Like you would swear they would be so interesting to watch but they ain’t really doing anything on the show that hasn’t been done already. We’ve seen a love triangle like ten times already. We’ve seen the baby mama drama a million times. And how many times is someone on the show going to be arrested?
Wait “America’s Most Wanted”?????? that still comes on, if so what channel?????? cuz its not on Fox anymore lol
The last time I saw it was a couple of years ago on Lifetime. I used to love this show and watched it on Fox every Saturday night as a child unless it didnt come on.
Reading this I can now say they are a perfect fit for this ratchet a-s show. Good job Mona.
