First Week Sales Projections for Young Thug’s ‘Jeffery’ Released

According to All Hip Hop, Thugger is projected to sell less than 20,000 copies in the first week.

All Hip Hop writes:

According to HDD, Jeffery is on pace to sell less than 20,000 copies in its first week.

The industry website predicts Thug will sell around 16,000 – 19,000 out the gate. With streaming numbers added in, the tape could reach 33,000 – 37,000 equivalent album units.

  1. This is why artists should put more work into their music and talent than stunts. Stunts will not sell your album. A dedicated fan base is required to do well. He doesn’t have that, just spectators waiting to laugh and comment on his stunts. That won’t put money in his pockets or give him longevity.

  2. Wayment – wasn’t he the goofball who was making fun of Jay Z and saying he’s too old and needs to retire? Yet Jay Z can still go platinum based on sales alone, and this little troll can’t even go foil with streams included. Hilarious.

    1. This. The only rappers who can sell albums right now are the ones who can actually rap and actually care about what they put out. People are tired of lazy artists.

  4. It’s really a shame what music has come to today..the same bulsh-t..no messages nor true substance anymore, jus stunts,shows,&gimmicks. That’s why I keep the old school sh-t in rotation. Truly sad..
