Gucci Mane Takes a Big Step

According to reports, Gucci Mane partied recently to celebrate his release from prison and he didn’t have not one drink.

Sources close to the rapper tell Page Six that it’s all because Gucci wants to remain sober and focus on his career:

His label, Atlantic Records, threw the Atlanta rapper a “Welcome to New York Dinner,” where he thanked music exec Todd Moscowitz for being by his side during his two-year prison stint for a probation violation.

Gucci told guests, “No more drugs, no more drinking.”

A source added, “He’s completely sober. He’s been in and out of jail for 10 years. He would’ve been a Jay Z– or Kanye-level act. He’s on fire right now and is becoming an even bigger deal [in New York]… He’s all about making record after record.”

  1. I know people think he’s a clone but I’m proud of him. He realizes he was a mess and he’s getting his life in order. You can’t be mad at that.
