Teyana Taylor Gives Details of Wedding Day with Iman Shumpert

In a recent interview with Essence Magazine, Teyana reveals that her big day with Iman was pretty spontaneous for the most part.

Here’s an excerpt from the interview:

“We got hitched, it was like ‘baby, grab your jacket [and] let’s get hitched,’” the singer spilled. “It was really like a movie.”

You might have guessed that the pair swapped “I dos” in Teyana’s hometown of Harlem, but she tells us that their special day took place somewhere a little more sentimental.

“It was very small, in Cleveland,” she added. “We got married where Junie was born”–which was in their apartment!

While Teyana is giving us the Fade 2 Fitness motivation to get our bodies right come 2017, she said she and Iman are definitely still planning on throwing the big fairytale wedding of their dreams.
