Lee Daniels Has Some Interesting Comments About Racism

Lee Daniels made a recent appearance on “The Real,” and he had some interesting words when asked about racism.

He says:

Lee Daniels:  I wouldn’t be where I was if I embraced racism.  If I embraced it, then it became real.

Tamera Mowry-Housley:  Um hmm.

Lee:  And if it became real, I would be an angry black man.

  1. He’s another one that thinks his success will keep him from dealing with racism at some point. You can’t erase your blackness no matter how successful you become. Someone or something will always remind you that you’re black.

  2. Why do these rich blacks always believe the money somehow insulates them from a bullet like the next black man? Ask Dr. Dre how well his money protected him from a lie, 5 squad cars and a pair of handcuffs.

  3. He cares about racism and race when it benefits him, you know when it comes to his shows and movies. Very hypocritical.

  4. Maybe he is saying he doesn’t embrace racism so that he doesn’t give it power or control over his thoughts or destiny.Let’s stop looking for reasons to attack each other. He never said it didn’t exist.
