Sheree got some backlash from Team Twirl after she shaded Kenya’s strained relationship with her mother, but Sheree doesn’t see the issue in what she said.
When asked about it, she tells WetPaint Entertainment:
“I definitely stand by my statement. My family bond is tight. We are close. We’ve always been close. Not just my immediate family, my extended family. I have friends that are like my family as well. And I have that and it’s unfortunate for someone who does not have that.
“And I do know that Kenya has had problems with her mom. Was that a dig at her? No. When you bring in my mom into a situation, don’t talk about moms if you really don’t want to talk about moms because my mom would do whatever for me and I would do whatever for her and that’s how my family rolls.”
Sheree also took up for Matt Jordan and says she understands why he moved on from Kenya:
“I think after a while, people feel like they need sanity. People want peace and just drama 24/7, no one wants to deal with that. So if that’s the direction he’s going, I commend him.”
