Steve Harvey made headlines recently for his meeting with Donald Trump and the comedian and talk show host claims he only agreed to it because of his loyalty to the black community.
According to reports, Steve met with Trump and Ben Carson to discuss ways to improve the inner cities all around the country.
Harvey claims his only agenda was to come up with solutions with the President-Elect, and President Obama’s last speech encouraged him to meet with Trump and Carson.
Steve got so much backlash for the meeting that he responded with an Instagram post:

Interestingly enough, Steve’s good friend DL Hughley went all the way off in an Instagram video after Steve’s meeting with Trump became headlines news.
In the video, DL says:
“It amazes me that to convince black people that Donald Trump cares about them, he takes pictures with celebrities. It’s amazing to me. If Donald Trump really cared about black people, he wouldn’t have denigrated the President with those claims of birther-ism. He wouldn’t have stoked fears and racist fears by saying this man is not one of us to become president. He wouldn’t have…in the debates, talked about bringing back stop and frisk. Jeff Sessions would most certainly would not be his pick to head the Justice Department. Donald Trump takes pictures with black people.
“You know why you have a comedian, a rapper, a football player to talk about the concerns of the community? Because that’s the positions you’re used to seeing us in. You’d rather have us as football players, comedians and rappers than president. You’d rather see us run the ball than run the country. That’s why you do it.
“I ain’t gonna never forget how you talked about this man to get where you are. Some people might, but I never will. I’ll never forget how you denigrated his family, I’ll never forget how you stoked fears. F*ck you now and f*ck you forever!”

Steve is having a really bad week.
Steve is so transparent. He met with Trump for his own agenda. It was a power move for him. He doesn’t care about the black community.
If Trump really cared about black people he would know not every black person lives in the inner cities.
And I’ll never forget how DL co-signed Don Imus’ “nappy headed hos” comment on national television. Even going further to say that the women playing for the Rutgers Basketball team were some of the ugliest women he’d ever seen in his life. At a time when we needed black men to stand up in our defense, he came in with a roundhouse kick to the head to knock us right back down. I agree with his thoughts about Trump. But just like he hasn’t forgotten Trump’s racist antics, some of us will never forget his, either.
If they don’t fix the inter-cities Steve Harvey is not going to understand it. People are going to stop supporting him and he will have nobody to blame but himself. He should have had Punk come to him. I feel sorry for Steve cause if that washed-up doctor does nothing for inter-cities Steve won’t even be able to blame him. Some things are best left alone.
This election has been so draining. I can only imagine how the next four years are going to be.
If Trump really cares about the plight of the inner cities he’d be meeting with community leaders….not celebs. This is all a photo op, nothing more.
DL has said some questionable things too but I can’t pretend he didn’t speak some facts about this.
