TV News: Larenz Tate Books Role on ‘Power’ + Trey Songz Gets His Own Reality Show

According to Deadline, Larenz Tate will have a recurring role in season four.

Deadline writes:

Game of Silence and House of Lies alum Larenz Tate is set for a recurring role on the upcoming fourth season of Starz’s hit drama series Power.

Tate will play Councilman Rashad Tate, a city councilman from Jamaica Queens.

Power follows James “Ghost” St. Patrick, a drug kingpin living a double life who in season 4 seeks to find redemption. Power returns for its fourth season this summer.

In related news, Trey Songz has his own reality show with VH1.

The show is about him meeting new women and looking for “the one.” Problems arise as of all his potentials have to live together in the same house.

VH1 writes:

Trey Songz has tackled the music industry and Hollywood selling over 20 million albums and singles throughout his career and starring in blockbuster films including Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D, but now he’s up against his biggest obstacle: finding love. Hosted by Draya Michele and Steelo Brim, seventeen lucky ladies compete against one another to win the heart of “Mr. Steal Your Girl” on his new reality show Tremaine the Playboy.

Trey is Tremaine, the latest eligible bachelor on a conquest to find his perfect match. It’s all fun and dancing at the opening rose ceremony, but as soon as love hits the fan, other emotions run wild. Finding love is a tricky beast to tackle, especially in a house full of singles trying to win over the R&B heartthrob.

  1. I’m here for Larenz being on Power but I’ll pass on Trey’s Flavor of Love knockoff. I didn’t even bother to watch the trailer.

  2. Trey’s show looks like garbage. Like it’s not even worth watching. Anyway, I’m glad Larenz will be on Power. It sounds like season four is going to be good. But Power hasn’t failed me yet.
