Breezy’s guest appearance on “Black-ish” hasn’t aired yet, but it’s already caused petitions and plenty of social media backlash.
However, ABC is going through with airing the episode tonight, and Anthony Anderson says people are in for a pleasant surprise.
He tells Goldderby.com:
“I had no idea he was going to do our show or that he had an interest in the show.
“[Series creator and producer Kenya Barris] was out at dinner one time and Chris saw him and said, ‘Hey, I’m a fan of the show and would love to be on an episode.’ And this episode came about, and we offered the role to Chris. People are going to be pleasantly surprised when this episode airs.”
I love the show and will watch it regardless.
I will be perched. Blackish has amazing writers so this could be a really good episode.
This could either be very good or very bad.
