Tyrese Says He Only Dated Black Women + Wife is 46 Percent Black

In an interview with “The Breakfast Club,” Tyrese says that when he was single, he never dated a non black woman.

He also claims that his wife is 46 percent black, and he’s thrilled.

Tyrese states:

Listen… First of all, for the record… I have never dated a white woman in my life. I’ve never been with Latina woman, I’ve never been with an Asian woman. I’ve only been intimate with Black women.

My personal preference is Black women. I may go super bright, I may go caramel complexion…

For the record, about eight months ago… I come back from the Bahamas and was told Gibson is a very popular name in the Bahamas. It had me thinking… I want to do an Ancestry test so my wife and I decide to do it.

I put up #MyBlackQueen because I don’t want to be pinged as a black man that had been supported by Black women, become a Millionaire and then jump ship. When her test came back that [my wife] is 46% black, I was like yes!

So she’s mixed with other things, of course, and I am proud of her multi-ethnic background of it all. But, when that 46 came, I was like, It’s not 4. It’s not 6… not 20. It’s 46… Hooyah!
