In an interview with Hip Hollywood, Evelyn Lozada gave her side of the story as to why Jennifer Williams did not return to “Basketball Wives.” Evelyn told a story of how she reached out to Jennifer when Jennifer’s mother passed away. Evelyn seemed to want to put what happened on the show behind them but Jennifer wasn’t receptive.
She also emphasized that she did not convince any producer for “Basketball Wives” to keep Jennifer Williams off the show. She just wanted to keep their reconciliation private.
She tells Hip Hollywood:
“Tami had this event and she went to the event, and one of the producers called me and said Jennifer and Tami are having a conversation how do you feel about it, kind of feeling me out,” explained Lozada.
“My thing to the producer was this is someone that I was really friends with for a really, really long time. I’m not going to talk about our relationship on the show because outside of the show I reached out to her, privately. Like I don’t want to just do stuff for the show and that was what it was.”
“When her mother passed away I reached out to her and ended up texting her and she responded, I sent her flowers and all that good stuff. In that conversation I said well maybe we can have dinner one day and she never responded to that, which is fine. I just wanted to let her know look I’m in a different place.”
“Jennifer was like ‘Oh My God, well now that makes sense’ … she didn’t have all of the information.”
“She knows now that that’s really the place where I was coming from,” added Lozada. “Like if we hash things out and have a conversation I’d rather do it privately, and then move forward.”

So she pretty much did block Jenn? That’s what it reads like at least.
So Evelyn made it so Jenn couldn’t do the show unless she agreed to forgive her and be friends again. Evelyn needs to get over herself.

That’s basically what it sounds like to me too if her and Jennifer are not friends then there’s no need for Jennifer to do the show in the producers eyes espcially when she said she not trying too talk to her about their friendship on camera, it was a wrap for Jennifer!
The world doesn’t revolve around Evelyn. I would have liked for Jenn to come back regardless of if she is cool with Evelyn again or not.
