Apparently those close to Janet are starting to feel some kind of what about some of the harsh things that are being said about the superstar online.

On one hand, it’s seen her enjoy a life of privacy away from the pressures stardom often brings.
However, it’s also seen her legacy left in the hands of a fickle industry who, for one reason or another, have erased her impact on Pop culture from the genre’s history books.
With this in mind, it may come as little surprise to see music lovers who are too young to remember said impact have clung to claims that she married and divorced her husband for money.
Today, her best friend Gil Duldulao has blasted these fans.

I just think people are followers and they want to jump on the bash Janet bandwagon. She’s a legend though and they can’t take that away from her.
Are these people really young or something? Janet is a legend. She was huge in her prime and she has made a lot of money. How can she be a gold digger when she has her own?
I don’t think it’s really an age thing. I see grown people who should know better slandering Janet on Twitter. Like Janet wasn’t making millions decades ago. LOL.
It’s nice to see someone defend Janet for a change. She’s been punching bag since that halftime performance while JT went unscathed.
