Chris Brown Runs up on Quavo at the BET Awards? (UPDATE)
The BET Awards just wrapped up and the awards weekend started off with drama thanks to Meek Mill’s entourage attempting to jump Safaree Samuels.
Now folks are hopping on social media and claiming that Chris Brown tried to fight Quavo, the front-man of popular rap group, Migos.
As you may have already heard, Karrueche Tran is currently dating Quavo and with all three in the same building for the whole evening, it’s no surprise that something possibly popped off.
In the video that is now spreading like wildfire, Migos and Chris Brown’s entourage appear to cross paths.
Chris is seen posted up on a vehicle, as if he is waiting to have a showdown with Quavo. You also see Takeoff and Offset standing up to Chris Brown and his security team. Quavo, meanwhle, is being somewhat held back by their own team.
Check out the footage below:
This is not the first time Chris Brown had an altercation such as this. A few years ago, Chris Brown famously fought Drake in a New York Club.
UPDATE: A source tells TMZ the drama went down at an after-party for the BET Awards:
Sources at the party tell us Chris had just finished premiering his new music video with Future at the event … near Microsoft Theater in downtown L.A. We’re told the guys from Migos were walking in at the same time, and when they came face-to-face with Chris’ crew things got tricky.
Witnesses tells us someone in Chris’ group pushed Quavo, and then one of the Migos guys jumped in … but then he got punched. We’re told Chris kept walking while all of this was going on — perhaps, wisely, realizing he don’t need any heat from Johnny Law.
However, we’re told Migos and some friends followed Chris to his car and surrounded him.
Ultimately, Chris was able to leave without anyone getting hurt … but not before some very tense moments.
