LaLa and Carmelo Anthony’s marriage has been under a spotlight for the past few months. Earlier this year, rumors surfaced that Carmelo Anthony got another woman pregnant and LaLa left him. It was also reported that LaLa sought out a lawyer to possibly begin the process of divorcing Carmelo.
However, La La basically shut down those rumors this morning.
Wendy Williams had La La on her show to promote the premiere of “Power.”
When Wendy asked her flat out if she is divorcing Carmelo, LaLa said the following:
“Not right now, I’m not. You know, marriages are tough… You know that, we all know that. It’s filled with ups and downs and we’re just going through a time right now. But, him and I are the best of friends and out number one commitment is to our son Kiyan. We have to set an example to Kiyan and that’s important.”

I don’t believe LaLa will ever really divorce Melo. Him cheating isn’t new. She gets mad for a few months and goes back every single time.

Lala loves herself some Carlo. She doesn’t want to divorce him. He really needs to get it together.
I really hope the rumors about him getting another woman pregnant are not true because LaLa deserves better than that. And if it is true, I hope she gets enough courage to walk away because that’s a huge sign of a lack of respect. A lot of things can be worked out. But when someone doesn’t respect you, it’s time to move on.
She handled that with so much class.
