Robyn updates the girls on her conversation with Karen.
Robyn tells Ashley and Charrisse she went and confronted Karen and told her that she was being a hypocrite.
Charrisse is still upset with Karen for stealing Gizelle and Monique away on the day that she was supposed to be in charge of the event planning.
Meanwhile, Karen doesn’t feel bad about her actions and says that the trip is not about her but about the girls. She feels good about the fact that Monique and Gizelle were able to be cordial for a day.
The ladies meet back up for Charrisse’s event – some wine and time on a yacht.
Monique and Gizelle actually hug it out in front of the group, while Robyn actually introduces herself to attractive guys and has some conversations.
One man in particular tells Charrisse he’s interested in getting to know Robyn.
Gizelle is not impressed and neither is Robyn.
“Of all the guys on the boat would you have chose that one?” – Gizelle
“This guy is not only not my type, he’s giving me the creeps.” – Robyn
Gizelle confirms that she’s in a good place with Monique, Karen explains herself.
When asked about where she stands with Monique, Gizelle says they are past their beef. Spending the day together worked because Monique’s fear of water caused her to soften up towards Gizelle.
“Because she was vulnerable, it allowed us to really talk and be real. And yes, so we’re better. We’re good.” – Gizelle
Karen is still trying to explain to Ashley and Monique about why she dipped out to make Gizelle and Monique spend the together.
“I had two seats that I could invite for the American Cup, okay? And my thing is I felt responsible for them getting off to a rocky start so it was a no-brainer that it would be Gizelle and Monique going with me.” – Karen
Ashley is surprised Karen is so concerned about repairing Gizelle and Monique’s relationship.
“Karen has done a complete 180. I don’t even recognize her anymore. She’s like this peacemaker, Mother Teresa, kissing babies. And it seems like she’s trying to overcompensate for something that she’s hiding. The only thing that I could think of that would cause Karen to act so erratically would be problems with her and Ray. “ – Ashley
Gizelle admits to Robyn and Charrisse that she feels it was weird for Karen to plan a getaway for her and Monique the way that she did.
“I told Karen that yes, her intentions were good. She wanted me and Monique to talk. Great. But the way that she went about it was wrong. She put me in a bad position, and out of respect for Charrisse, be honest.” – Gizelle
Gizelle urges Charrisse to sit down and talk things out with Karen.
Charrisse and Karen have another heated conversation.
“So Ashley just shared that you were hurt that the entire group was not included. But you know what? They had a bonding moment that was wonderful. I don’t apologize for taking them on this cruise at all. When I got on that boat…” – Karen
“Okay. Are you gonna stop talking? What you should have said, ‘You know what Charrisse, I have an opportunity to do something with Gizelle and Monique…” – Charrisse
“Well if this Charrisse were at the table last night talking to me, I would have done that.” – Karen
“Girl, did I really talk last night? You were barking like crazy last night. – Charrisse
“No because…Oh Charrisse, I don’t bark honey. If you were offended by how I executed it today, I apologize…” – Karen
“That’s weak. That’s weak.” – Charrisse
“Weak? Oh my God. You are amazing. You want drama but this is beneath me.” – Karen
In a confessional, Charrisse goes all the way in.
“B*tch, you know you offended me. Own your sh*t and apologize. Are you capable of that?”
Karen’s conversation with Charrisse continues to get worse.
“I had a fantastic event and you’re doing an okay job right now.” – Karen
“You don’t get it. We planned a bonding experience, but instead you opted to do something totally different.” – Charrisse
In a confessional. Karen says she believes Charrisse is just taking her marriage problems out on her.
“You know what Karen? Feel free to take a swim over there, cause I’m done with you.” – Charrisse
“Charrisse, you’re running. Just finish the conversation. Stand her like a woman and finish it so we can bury this.” – Karen
“This is a waste of my time.” – Charrisse
“I’m not gonna be brainwashed by you.” – Karen
“You need therapy.” – Charrisse
“You would know best.” – Karen
“I am doing therapy.” – Charrisse
They eventually begin to exchange insults, with Charrisse telling Karen her yacht party costs more than her net worth. Karen responds by telling Charrisse that all her money comes from her soon to be ex husband so time is actually running out for her to keep her lifestyle.
“I’m going to pay you in dust and leave you here like a dusty b*tch that you are acting like.” – Karen
“I don’t know, Karen. I think I spent more on this boat than your net worth.” – Charrisse
“I read your net worth. I think that’s Eddie’s net worth, honey.” – Karen
“What kind of money do you have, honey, Ray’s? Try to sell that house, honey.” – Charrisse
In a confessional, Karen responds:
“Don’t tell me to sell my house. I didn’t have to sell my house. It was a choice. I hope you have that blessing after your divorce before they drag your a*s up out of it, okay? You have a long way to climb from what I understand.”
Monique decides to talk it out with Karen about Charrisse.
Karen is not happy about the last conversation with Charrisse, and she’s not going to let Charrisse tell her how to apologize.
Meanwhile, Charrisse is giving Gizelle, Ashley and Robyn a recap of the conversation and tells them that Karen had to sell her house less than it’s actually worth because she didn’t renovate it and she actually bought the house in Potomac on foreclosure.
Robyn wonders if Karen is being secretive about her new house because she had to downsize and she’s embarrassed.
Karen says she’s over trying to make things work with Charrise.
“We did have a genuine friendship. But as far as my part, I’m over it.” – Karen
Robyn and Gizelle get some action while watching a game of Cricket.
Gizelle meets an attractive man and decides it’s a sign that she needs to move on from Kevin.
Robyn strikes up a conversation with a man at the game and realizes she needs to make some decisions when she gets home.
Karen is having regrets.
At the cricket game, Karen comes to the conclusion that she misses her friendship with Charrisse and she wants to end their feud.
Karen tries to make things right with Charrisse.
Charrisse agrees to have another sit-down with Karen.
“On a serious note, we didn’t get off to a good start co-hosting.” – Karen
Karen admits that she’s under a lot of stress at the moment in her personal life and she wants to be friends again. She also feels like it’s their responsibility to be leaders to the other ladies.
Charrisse agrees and they decided to drop the beef.
“It’s good to be in a pleasant place with Karen. Half the time, I think she’s a little cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs, but you know what? That’s just Karen. And I know what she’s having a hard time finding a house, so I am going to be supportive to my little friend.” – Charrisse
The rest of the ladies come by Karen’s room and everyone seems to be in a good place.
Monique reveals that she was pursuing a rap career when she was younger, but didn’t move forward when A&R people told her she needed to sleep her way to the top.
She raps for the group and they attempt to show off their skills too.
After returning home from the Bermuda trip, Robyn has another visit with her therapist.
Her therapist is disappointed that Robyn did not entertain any of the men who were interested in her in Bermuda.
She tells her therapist that she now feels like she needs to make things work with Juan.
“Just being in Bermuda and having the male attention on me, and I like totally shut it down, I wasn’t open to it. It let me know that I think I have something at home that I need to at least explore.” – Robyn
However, Robyn isn’t sure if Juan even cares about her feelings but her therapist suggests she forces the issue and makes him have a conversation about where they stand.
Ashley gets some news about her role at Oz.
Michael and Ashley have an update at the office and Michael reveals that some changes to her role at the restaurant were made while she was in Bermuda.
While Ashley was away, an employee has been stepping up and handling some of her duties. Michael claims this happened in order to modify Ashley’s role at the restaurant.
“Modify my role?” – Ashley
Ashley feels like the move just shows that Michael doesn’t respect her when it comes to the business and they don’t have a true partnership.
He reveals that he wants her to just be an owner and no longer an owner-manager.
Ashley understands that she hasn’t been the best manager and this could help their relationship. She’s at peace with the change.
“I don’t know everything and it requires a lot for me to admit that, especially with my husband because I always feel like he’s trying to tell me what to do.” – Ashley
He also apologizes and tells her he wants their marriage back in a good place. He feels like the restaurant has been a major cause of their problems. Ashley agrees.
Charrisse has a fancy get together at her house to reveal her new champagne room and invites all the ladies.
She goes all out and has fancy appetizers and a staff to wait on everyone hand and foot.
Monique confirms that she and Chris closed on their Potomac house.
“Thank God we can afford to keep our current home. Would hate to be in Karen’s shoes, where I have to rush-rush, I have to pack boxes thing. It shouldn’t be that hard. Not when you say you’re married to the black Bill Gates.” – Monique
Karen is late and she becomes the topic of conversation. Gizelle tells the group that Karen has moved completely into the new house.
“I’m licensed to say whatever the word on the street is. Well the streets of Potomac are saying that Karen no longer lives in Potomac. I think Karen is trying to keep up with the Samuels and the Jordans, and she just realized her last name is Huger.” – Gizelle
Karen still hasn’t revealed where she’s moving to, and everyone thins it’s so odd.
“Karen being secretive about moving makes the mind wonder. Is the black Bill Gates not really rolling in the Benjamins? It’s just a little suspicious.” – Ashley
Karen finally arrives to the showing.
The champagne room is beautiful and everyone is impressed by it.
Karen tells the ladies she got a cash offer and asks if they remember that her new house is in Great Falls.
“I didn’t want to rush into a decision so I have a private sale option going on in Great Falls. If I decide I want it, I can buy it. If not, I’m test driving it, and I will either build here in Potomac or buy here in Potomac when the house that I love comes available.” – Karen
Ashley says in a confessional that she thinks something is off:
“Everybody knows that renting is a waste of money. You’re literally just putting that sh*t in a hole and burning it. You’re never gonna get it back.” – Ashley
She also blows up Karen’s spot in front of the rest of the ladies.
“Monique just bought a $5 million house here in Potomac.” – Ashley
“I have lived in a large house.” – Karen
In a confessional, Charrisse explains why she thinks Karen is hiding something.
“For Karen to take a cash offer to move out of the home that she owns to rent house in the middle of the night, doesn’t make sense.”
Robyn also tells Karen that what she’s doing sounds “backwards.”
“And to be honest, I say this not to be rude but I really don’t care what you think.” – Karen
Ashley tells Karen she is no longer the Grand Dame and Karen gets defensive.
“Well you’re not going to be the Grand Dame of Potomac anymore, darling.” – Ashley
“That is your opinion and you know, I’m not really into titles. It’s how I live.” – Karen
“I think it’s being bestowed to Monique, with her new $5 million home. The new addition to Potomac.” – Ashley
“People bestowed that upon me and I graciously accept it. And until I had it off, it’s no one’s to have.” – Karen
“You just said you’re not into titles, and now you’re arguing with Ashley about well, when I decide to pass it on, I’ll pass it on.” – Robyn
“Absolutely, I embrace it. I’m not gonna insult people. If they call me the Grand Dame, I am.” – Karen
“Well now I can take it back. Someone can just take it back.” – Ashley
“No, no. I have to give it off to you, honey. I have to pass it on.” – Karen
“You have been dethroned.” – Ashley
“That is your opinion.” – Karen
‘You’ve already been dethroned Karen.” – Ashley
“That is your opinion. But you know what? I will talk to the real people that bestowed it upon me and not some idiot sitting across the couch on the end of it.” – Karen
What are your thoughts on the episode?
I think Karen and Ray’s money has gotten funny. That probably won’t be confirmed until the reunion though.
It’s obvious as hell that Karen is having to downsize her lifestyle for money reasons. She should be honest about it and stop taking it out on everyone else.
Charrisse looked like she was really enjoying Karen being placed in the hot seat.
All of these women are living beyond their means.

Karen really needs to humble herself. All that bragging she did is coming back to bite her in the butt.
