Aja Metoyer has plenty to say in response to Cristen’s interview.
In the interview, Cristen told us she is not responsible for episodes and scenes featuring Aja and Melissa Metoyer being edited out of the season. In fact, she said the following about her sisters:
That was out of my control when the whole time I was fighting for all three of us to stay on the show constantly asking why haven’t I shot with them. But in the end, my sister swears up and down that I had something to do with it. But what’s crazy is I don’t have that much pull but I’m flattered that they think I do.
Aja is firing back. She says Cristen was directly involved in why she and Melissa aren’t on the show anymore. She also claims Cristen said some foul things about her cast mates.
In Aja’s eyes, Cristen was coached up very well on how to succeed on reality TV, as she is cousins to reality stars Chance and Real, from “I Love New York.”
Aja also denies making fun of Cristen’s weight, saying she helped Cristen lose 20 pounds before filming this season.
Aja’s statement reads as follows:
Cristen Metoyer is a liar and a manipulator. She told show producers I had plans to create a spin-off show, which is absolutely false. Cristen was an absolute terror and wreck to work with. She went behind my back and Melissa’s back to producers with other lies. She used these lies about her sisters to remain on the show. I believe the producers didn’t keep Melissa on the show because she wouldn’t bad mouth me like Cristen did.
Cristen also talked badly about other members of the cast, and even called Bonnie-Jill Laflin a hoe. Cristen said so many negative things about me and Melissa to producers, it isn’t even funny. The producers knew of all of her off camera antics and we were in trouble with producers because of it. She would say these things face to face, over the phone, but never in writing so we could never prove it to them.
Cristen would even snitch to producers about me being out late attending events before filming. She even talked badly about Jackie Christie, even after she begged Jackie to film with her. In fact, she only begged Jackie to film with her so she wouldn’t be fired. She even talked badly about my friend Saniy’yah. She came for Saniy’yah at first, but when she found out how much she was filming, she tried to be her homegirl.
I never made fun of her weight gain. In fact, I helped her lose 20 pounds before we even started filming for the current season. Our father even called Cristen out for her antics on the show and behind the scenes. She knows the miscarriage was a lie; she only used this to keep her position and continue filming.
When I suggested to producers to add Cristen and Melissa to the show, I thought it would be cool for my sisters and I. I thought it would be a fun activity for my sisters and I to bond over. However, before we started filming, I had a bad feeling about it and wanted to back away. I only stayed because Cristen begged me not to.
I had to even block her from even calling me during filming with all of this going on. I only blocked her on the suggestion of the producers to do so.
Cristen should honestly refrain from talking about me. She shouldn’t have any need to use me for a storyline. She should stick to talking about her baby daddy and continue getting punked by Evelyn Lozada.
I wish these grown women would settle their issues in private. They are blood at the end of the day. I hate what TV does to relationships.
I mean sh-t it’s possible Cristen did some of this sh-t. We only saw her on a few episodes and don’t really know her personality like that. But the truth of the matter is they are all fighting over some dumb sh-t.
Well Cristen did talk sh-t about Evelyn, Tami and Shaunie before she got cool with Evelyn. That Golden Girls comment came from her so she def ain’t innocent.
Agreed. Aja still seems really bitter about being kicked off the show though. But I don’t really think it had anything to do with Cristen. Knowing VH1, they were mad she couldn’t talk about D Wade. That gag order was the real issue.
The truth is probably somewhere in the middle.

The show decided to go in the direction of Evelyn and the old ppl. Even Malayasia and the rest of the girls had their time cut because of it. It’s pretty obvious. She keeps blaming her sister, but her sister doesn’t have that type of power. Hell, Shaunie barely has that type of power.
This entire season went from being about the newbies and developing their storylines to being about Eve, Tami and Jackie. I wouldn’t even be surprised if D Wade had more to do with her not getting time, then her sister. He sabotaged a lot of stuff his ex wife had in the works, so the baby mama wouldn’t be anything to keep off of a show.
I have to agree that it was the gag order that hurt Aja. We all wanted her on the show to get the tea on D Wade but he shut that down with his lawyer. So her and Cristen need to squash this because it’s neither one of their faults.
I think Aja is telling the truth. Something about Cristen seems fake. I really took issue with how she dogged out the OG’s but sucked up to them when she was with them. That was grimy.
Really dogged out the OG’s? She didn’t say anything bad about them. Now ur just a butt kisser for the OG’s and they need to go away already. They were on TV from 2010-2012 they didn’t even have enough time for a reign. The LA housewives held down the show and ppl need to realize that. The main reason why the Miami show went off was because they started loosing advertising dollars which is what I suspect will happen again.
