Ta’Kari Lee Defends Why She Wrote Book About Jackie Christie
By: A.J. Niles
Jackie Christie’s daughter Ta’kari Lee has been a major source of conflict for Jackie on this season of “Basketball Wives.”
Ta’kari’s is accusing Jackie Christie of not being a good mother or grandmother.
For one, Ta’kari’s Go Fund Me campaign to pay for her son’s medical bills caused a major beef between Jackie and Evelyn Lozada. For those that don’t know, Evelyn donated to Ta’kari’s campaign for her child who was severely burned at their daycare. When Jackie found out Evelyn did this, the beef between these two exploded.
This culminated in Evelyn and Jackie engaging in a near physical confrontation in New York City, and Jackie threatening to kill Evelyn.
Things turned up again on the current episode when the two were on a yacht in Miami. Here, Jackie told her friend Malaysia she would stab Evelyn in the neck if they had a physical confrontation, again. Jackie even got into it with Shaunie O’Neal, the creator of the show.
Jackie did not appreciate Shaunie speaking about the relationship between her and Ta’kari in an interview.
Well Ta’kari has been responding to Jackie’s antics on the show and recently released a clip explaining why she wrote the tell-all book, “Light to her Shadow.”
According to Ta’kari, she experienced lots of pain growing up as Jackie’s daughter and writing the book was therapeutic.
