Fans of “Power” were shocked when Ghost and Tasha St. Patrick’s daughter Raina was shot and killed by a crooked police officer, and many suspected that Tariq would be the child they would lose earlier in the season.
However, show creator Courtney Kemp says that there was a good reason why Raina was the St. Patrick kid who was killed off the show.

Makes sense. Plus killing Tariq would have been too predictable.
They never really did much with Raina’s character anyway. So I’m not surprised she was the one who died.

Yeah I can see why they went that route.
It was the right call, but it was still sad to see. She was like one of the only innocent people on the show.
