Multiple outlets are reporting that Karen Huger’s mother passed away on Thanksgiving. Page Six confirmed the passing with Karen’s rep and learned it was due to an ailment with her kidneys.
Page Six writes:
Karen Huger lost her mom on Thanksgiving morning.
A rep for the “Real Housewives of Potomac” fixture confirmed the passing of Georgia Raines Wooden to Page Six on Saturday.
We’re told Huger, 54, and other close family members were with her until the moment she passed on Thursday.
Wooden — whose close relationship with Huger was captured by Bravo cameras — died of kidney failure.
She is survived by her husband and three children.
Huger’s mother had also been previously diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, which sparked the reality TV star’s involvement with the Alzheimer’s Association.
How sad. Prayers up for Karen and her fam.
