Ryan Henry’s Friend Throws Shade at Kat & Van Goes Off

The ongoing dynamics between Kat on Ryan on “Black Ink Crew Chicago” has been quite contentious all season. Ever since their alleged hook up during their 9Mag retreat, Ryan and Kat have been at odds.

Ryan has since explained his side of the story to fans as to why he and Rachel attacked show producers while they were filming in Mexico.

Despite their dynamic, Kat still has a great friendship with the other artists at the shop. When Kat returned to the shop yet again, this was the source of contention between Ryan and Van. In a preview clip of Wednesday’s episode, Ryan and Van have a confrontation over this.

The other day, one of Ryan’s acquaintances decided to get real shady on Instagram, posting the following:Kat’s friend Van and her manager were quick to jump to her side. In fact, Kat’s manager brings up the fact that she doesn’t work at 9Mag or Ryan. Van also stepped to his friend and they began going back and forth.

  1. Straight shenanigans and nonsense! You mean to tell me ppl are beefing and having fights over scripted reality tv these days?! Come on now! ??‍♀️ SMH Grow up!

  2. I think people need to start holding Kat responsible for her actions. She’s not a victim. She’s messy and shouldn’t even be sleeping with all the people she works with. I’m all for women doing as they please but how many of us expect to do like Kat at work and still have that job? Just saying.

    1. You are so right!! I was really confused about all the love, sympathy and compassion Kat was getting. It was like no one remembered that she slept with everyone in the shop AND reacted the same way with each one of them when they were done with her (remember the scene with/about Phor). Rachel even commented on it. And if that wasn’t enough, her staunch defender Van watches her with Phor and Don while she slobbers all over the new bipolar female
tattoo artist just before she leaves to go sleep with her.
