Evelyn Braxton made headlines after she claimed Vincent Herbert is dangerous and could end up killing her daughter Tamar Braxton if he doesn’t get help.
Now sources are claiming that her actions didn’t sit well with Tamar and it’s caused problems for the upcoming season of “Braxton Family Values.”
Page Six writes:
Tamar Braxton is refusing to shoot scenes with her own mother, Evelyn, on their long-running WE tv reality show “Braxton Family Values,” because the matriarch spoke out about Tamar’s divorce from her manager and husband, Vincent Herbert.
“Tamar is not speaking to her mother right now after [Evelyn] told [paparazzi] cameras Vince needs to keep his hands off of her. She added fuel to domestic violence rumors,” a source told us.
In March, Tamar publicly shot down rumors of domestic violence on BET.
Evelyn told TMZ on video that she doesn’t want Herbert to “kill my child” when the gossip site accosted her at an airport last week. “Keep his hands off of my child. Stop before he hurts her or kills her,” she said. “I love him, but I don’t want him to kill my child. [It’s] as simple as that . . . I think he needs to go and get counseling. I really and truly do, before someone gets killed.”
The couple, whose “Tamar & Vince” show will soon air its final season on WE tv, announced in October that they were divorcing.
A rep for Tamar would not comment. But another insider confirmed that she skipped shooting the show with her family over the weekend.
I’m starting to think all of this is contrived for their reality shows. The timing is sooooo suspect.
I really hope not because that is the lowest of the low. Domestic abuse should not be used for storylines.
I was feeling the same thing bc Evelyn never speaks out in public about their relationships. I was wondering if this was a publicity stunt to get views for their reality shows. Hmm. I guess it will all be determined sooner than later. ??♀️
I’m a little confused. Wasn’t Tamar the same one who just said she’s glad she doesn’t have to fake like she’s happy in her marriage anymore? So she should be happy Evelyn is also keeping it real unless Tamar isn’t so sure she’s done with Vince. And that would be a shame.

I understand both of points of view on hand it’s her personal business and her mother should not be speaking on her daughter’s personal business and at the same time I understand that the mother wants people to know what her daughter’s going through its just a messy situation. But I can imagine Tamar is probably very embarrassed by this whole situation since she been keeping up such a front of happiness for so long. So that’s probably what she’s mad about.

Can’t quite understand how she’d be mad at her mom but not her sisters. They’ve all spoken about it, so… not sure what her deal is.
