GUHHATL Recap: Brandon & Reginae Squash Their Beef + Amy & Ayana Clash

Brandon and Reginae squash their beef.

It’s the night of the sit-down between Brandon and Reginae. Deb and Toya are with their kids to make sure they bury the hatchet. When Toya and Reginae arrive, Brandon and Reginae have a seemingly angry stare down.

Toya breaks the ice and says she initiated the contact in efforts to call a truce. The moms were able to get Brandon and Reginae to civilly talk about their issues. But in her green screen interview, Reginae demands an apology.

However, Brandon shuts down her demands. Interestingly enough, Deb checks Reginae and Toya checks Brandon. But when Deb checked Reginae, Reginae begins to cry. Brandon isn’t moved by her tears.

“Everyone, meet the female version of Denzel Washington. I’m just saying.” – Brandon

Despite the tension at first, Brandon and Reginae apologize and squash their beef. However, Reginae says that she feels Brandon will get caught up in some mess again.

“Something will pop up soon.” – Reginae

Reginae wants to move out of Toya’s house.

The next day, Reginae and Zonnique are lounging by the pool and recap her sit down with Brandon. Zonnique is glad they squashed their beef but feels he needs to curb his aggression.

Reginae tells Zonnique that she enjoys college and wants to move out and suggests that they move into an apartment together.

Zonnique also says that Toya may need help with Reign when she’s born.

Bow Wow grills Shaniah about her boyfriend.

At the studio, Bow Wow is with his producer Pimpin when Shaniah stops by. JD is not there and Shaniah feels some type of way about it. JD is also her manager but she feels he’s never around.

Bow Wow asks Shaniah about her boyfriend. He asks Shaniah if JD knows about him, and she says he doesn’t know about her boyfriend.

As he tries to give her advice, Shaniah says she can’t take Bow Wow’s advice seriously because of his antics.

Bow Wow tells her that she was engaged twice (Ciara and Erica) but he didn’t know how to handle it.

“I lost all faith in relationships. So I’m not gonna play with it, play with God.” – Bow Wow

He then freaks out when Shaniah tells him that she and her boyfriend track each other’s locations on their iPhones. At the end of the conversation, Bow Wow tells Shaniah he wants to meet her boyfriend.

Ayana reveals she wants surgery to Brandon.

At the gym, Brandon tells his cousin Ayana that he is starting his own label. She asks Brandon if he told Deb yet, and he says no.

He’s nervous about his because he doesn’t know how its going to affect their working relationship.

Ayana then tells Brandon that she is looking at getting breast reduction surgery. She’s also working on her clothing line, Cozy Clothing.

Toya is shocked Reginae wants to move out and gives her a warning about responsibility. 

At Toya’s house, Reginae helps her mom fit into her shoes. Reginae takes this bonding time to tell Toya that she wants to move out.

Toya is shocked by the revelation.

“You have a whole apartment upstairs. I wouldn’t want you to move out right now.” – Toya

Despite Toya’s reservations, she’s understanding about it. But she does give Reginae a warning.

“You have to understand the rules. Once you leave the nest, there’s no turning back.” Toya

Reginae reassures her that she will be there for Toya and Reign.

“You’re having my best friend. Of course I will be there for you.” – Reginae

While at lunch, Amy and Ayana argue over the surgery.

Ayana and Amy are out to eat and Ayana says that their relationship is better than ever. But when she tells Amy about her breast reduction surgery desires, their time at the restaurant goes bad.

Amy tells Ayana, “Absolutely not. I don’t think that’s a good idea.”

She’s concerned about Ayana getting hurt from the surgery. However, Ayana is adamant about having the surgery.

Ayana begins to cry when she tells Amy that she doesn’t feel support in her surgery desires and storms off.

Bow Wow and Brat still aren’t seeing eye to eye.

Back at his studio, Da Brat stops by to see JD. She talks to him about Bow Wow’s attitude. She says JD set Bow Wow up with Pimpin; because he knew, “their chemistry is crazy.”

She also tells him that Bow Wow doesn’t want them to hear their records. But JD says he is going to hear it and if it’s wack, he’s gonna tell him.

He texts Bow Wow that they need to talk but Bow Wow replies, “Can’t. Busy tonight.”

By busy, he means he is tipping strippers at The Blue Flame.

Jhonni Blaze’s snub solidifies Brandon desire to start his own label.

Meanwhile, Deb’s artist Jhonni Blaze has her listening party. Deb is looking to give her a second chance and take her out of the strip club.

Jhonni performs a song called “Change,” and everyone at the party is impressed.

Afterwards, Jhonni shouts out Deb, who she calls her “second mother.” Meanwhile, Brandon Barnes feels slighted yet again.

“I am finally ready to have my own label and take over this industry.” – Brandon

JD and Shaniah talk about Bow Wow and her clothing line.

Back at his studio, Shaniah nervously talks to JD about her boyfriend and Bow Wow. She asks about him and if he “threw him to the wayside.”

He says no and tells him that he had Pimpin working with Bow Wow.

She then flips it and asks why isn’t he managing her better.

“My dad should not be my manager.” – Shaniah

JD basically tells her not to worry about it and to see her mood board. Her swagger impresses him.

At the end, JD sends a text to Bow Wow saying that he and Da Brat will hear his music.

Brandon tells Deb he’s starting his own label.

Deb and Brandon are with Gucci Mane’s brother. She keeps Nate close by as Gucci bashed him in his book and uninvited him to his wedding to Keyshia Ka’oir.

Things turn interesting when Brandon tells Deb that she starting his label.

Deb is worried about this.

“Brandon. You gotta sit back and think about this sweetie.” – Deb

However Brandon says that he gets to do things how he wants to do them. He also has a vision and cannot wait to show Deb that he can manage his label.
