RHOA Recap: Sheree Reignites Feud with NeNe + Kenya’s Project is Emotional for the Group

Kenya starts working with producer Derek to make her PSA for domestic violence.

She wants it to air on national television.

So they discuss her goals for it and the direction she wants to take. For her, it’s very important that it looks cinematic and professional.

Sheree joins the meeting to give her input. Kenya says Cynthia’s mother and Shamea want to speak in the PSA.

At this point, Sheree says she wants more of a say so in the project.

They discuss what Sheree would like to do and she says she wants a little more experience in the production side. Kenya says she can be her intern and Sheree isn’t here for that.

“Intern.” – Kenya

“Whatever!” – Sheree

They decide to just see how things go.

Marlo goes by NeNe’s place to visit.

In a green screen interview, NeNe says they have been inseparable since they made up.

NeNe tells Marlo about Kenya’s PSA about domestic abuse. NeNe plans to attend but she doesn’t feel like running into Porsha.

Marlo says they should sit down and try to talk things out again. So she suggests they do so at her place in the form of a tea party.

“I don’t know if I want to come.” – NeNe

NeNe really feels like Porsha has not been grateful for all she’s done for her. Despite this, NeNe reluctantly agrees to go to the tea party with Marlo and Porsha.

A Cynthia and Noelle hang out at the house, Will calls and makes her blush.

He tells her to call her back later, and Noelle teases her about getting so nervous.

Cynthia says that after Will’s run in with Kandi and Todd, she’s not in a rush to introduce him to her daughter.

Cynthia receives a text from Marlo about the tea party to get NeNe and Porsha to talk things out. She thinks it’s a good idea for them to talk.

Things are very busy at OLG.

Mom Joyce comes by to visit with Kandi’s two aunts. They say they need to talk.

“We want some changes.” – Mama Joyce

Momma Joyce says they want to change where the hostess and where people take the orders because it’s too crowded and it doesn’t look professional.

Kandi says in a green screen interview, she will do whatever makes them happy.

Another concern that comes up is the uniforms and the way the cooks dress.

Todd says they are looking for a new general manager and they advise them to get someone more professional and to keep them in the loop about all business decisions.

Porsha goes into work at Dish Nation and flirts a little with Rickey Smiley.

In green screen interview, Porsha says that she’s attracted to Rickey and he’s not her boss technically, so nothing is off limits.

Her dating match company asked her why she hasn’t gone on a date with Rickey.

In a green screen interview, she says she just doesn’t think she should go there because it could cause issues professionally for them both.

Marlo calls her and asks her if she’s coming to the tea party. Porsha says she is coming.

When Porsha asks who all is coming, she tells her it will be her, NeNe, Cynthia and Marlo.

She feels like Marlo and Cynthia genuinely want her and NeNe to make up. She’s now open to that.

Kandi comes by Sheree’s place to catch up.

Kandi asks if Sheree talk to her kids about Bob’s abusive past.

Sheree tells her the talk went well.

They discuss Kenya’s PSA, and Sheree says she’s a bit frustrated because Kenya still won’t communicate with her and keep her in the know about everything.

Kandi also tells Sheree that NeNe said her prison bae is a con artist.

Sheree tells Kandi that when it comes to the group, her prison bae Tyrone isn’t the only one with past run ins with the law.

In a green screen interview, Sheree throws a little shade.

“Really NeNe? You and Gregg both have mugshots.”

Porsha and NeNe get nowhere.

Cynthia is the first to arrive to Marlo’s tea party. It’s her first time seeing Marlo’s place. Cynthia is optimistic that Porsha and NeNe can kiss and make up.

Porsha is the next one to arrive.

NeNe is the last to arrive and she actually speaks to Porsha and gives her a hug.

She says in a green screen interview that she hopes Porsha takes responsibility for her actions.

Marlo thanks them for coming and says that she wishes the energy they have now can be what it always is between them.

Cynthia then says she thinks that they can at least get to a peaceful place.

Porsha says she doesn’t know why things get so ugly when they attempt to hash things out.

Porsha says that she really appreciated the close friendship that they had. But NeNe says Porsha wouldn’t return calls and text messages and it caused her to question if they have a real friendship.

Porsha says she only didn’t return texts twice. But NeNe says that’s not the case.

At this point, NeNe gets annoyed that Porsha seems to feel like she is overreacting, so NeNe shuts down and starts giving non chalant answers.

Porsha senses this and says she realizes that NeNe is no longer receptive of what she has to say so she’s done with the conversation.

NeNe says she’s fine with this.

Kandi, Todd and Don Juan interview general manager candidates.

One of the candidates, Aaron, tells them that the last few months, OLG has gotten pretty lackluster reviews and he feels that’s a sign that things need to improve.

He says the employees seem great but they need to go above and beyond for the guests.

Todd is impressed by Aaron but Kandi wants to see if he can really handle the duties that come with the job.

Don Juan says they will see what he’s really made of really soon.

Sheree has a scare, Cynthia has an emotional moment.

It’s shoot day for Kenya’s PSA. She’s really excited.

Shamea arrives to film and tells her story. Kenya asks her to give graphic details and this causes Shamea to get emotional.

She discusses how she argued with an ex when he punched her in the face.

She says he knocked her out of her shoes.

Kenya thinks Shamea is being brave to tell her story.

Cynthia arrives with her mother. She says she was young when her mother was abused by her father so she doesn’t remember much.

Kandi also arrives to support and says she is there to help bring awareness although she’s not a victim.

One of the production assistants tells Kenya that Sheree is running late but she’s on her way.

NeNe gets there and discusses that she had a child from her past abusive relationship. She and Kandi read the lines they were given.

Kenya calls Sheree to see how far away she is. Sheree tells Kenya that she’s been in an accident.

“Sheree, are you okay? Hello?” – Kenya

Sheree tells her she was in a car accident and she’s okay. She feels a little dizzy and the back of her car was ruined.

The call gets disconnected.

Kenya decides to proceed with her PSA.

Cynthia’s mother begins filming and opens up about how her ex husband tried to stab her with a knife in front of her daughters.

Cynthia says in a green screen interview that she knows her dad was abusive towards her mother. She starts crying and this makes Cynthia panic.

Kenya calms Cynthia down and Cynthia’s mother continues to speak.

Cynthia gives her a hug and kiss when she finishes.

“Thank you for your bravery.” – Kenya

In a green screen interview, Cynthia says she is really proud of her mom.

Porsha arrives and gives everyone a hug, including Shamea and NeNe (she’s on bad terms with both).

She films some lines for Kenya.

Sheree arrives and says that she’s in pain and the person who hit her from behind wasn’t paying attention.

She goes to the bathroom and cries because she’s in so much pain.

Kenya goes to her and confronts her and gets her some pain medication.

Cynthia comes by to check on Sheree and offer support.

“ I appreciate this.” – Sheree

Despite being shaken up, Sheree decides to film her lines anyway.

“Yay, good job Sheree.” – Kenya

They wrap up and Kenya is pleased that everyone was able to come together and not fight.

She thanks everyone for coming, especially Sheree considering she got in a car accident. Sheree feels it was too important to not see the project through.

They all hug as a group.

  1. Why is it that when black women are acting erratic and ghetto that excitement and entertainment !! But when they are classy and professional the show is dry and boring !! Why is the deplorable and demeaning behavior of black Women on a show boost ratings and brings joy and laughter to so many people’s life’s!! But that kind of behavior it’s tolerated on KUWTK !! And yet the have the highest ratings ever !

  2. ^^^^^^^

KUWTK is actually flopping and has been declining in ratings for the last few years. In fact, more people watch L&HH and RHOA. That’s why they are out here getting pregnant at the same time. They need to boost ratings. But I get your point though. I think the last RHOA episode was boring because storylines aren’t good. I didn’t like the last season either because it was way too raunchy.
