Don and Ashley have a very tumultuous relationship that has been chronicled over the span of “Black Ink Crew Chicago.”
Fans of the show witnessed Ashley and Don tackle infidelity on the show. This includes a fling between Don and his co-star Charmaine.
Despite this, the couple seemed to be on the uptick last season.
However, as the cast is filming for the current season, something must have occurred between the two. It also had to be really serious because Don issued a public statement and apology about the newest transgression.
Not only did he apology to Ashley publicly, he also apologized to his children for his behavior.

UPDATE: Ashley responded to the sudden news and Don’s apology on social media. In a now deleted post, Ashley revealed she and Don have separated and they are now co-parenting.

This has become a pattern. Her self respect and self esteem seems lacking bc she’s continuing to allow this behavior repeatedly. Clearly it’s easy to say what you will do until you’re the one in the situation. I hope she will figure out how to love herself as much as she loves him. He now has learned that he can be a jerk and disrespect and all he has to do is make an apology and it’s all good. An apology means nothing if you continue to do the same things repeatedly. He doesn’t respect Ashley and never will. Sadly, this is how it often plays out when we forgive a man for cheating multiple times. Now he’s probably done the ultimate no no and impregnated someone else. And she will have to suffer embarrassment for the 100th time on the show.
She wasn’t wifey material from the jump. All that mouth and foolery on the show, yet you still let that man treat you like a gutter s****. Who wants to deal with all of that? By no means justifying his actions, but I’m a viewer and not quite sure I would want to be her friend with all that extra uncalled for nonsense.
