TMZ is reporting that Remy Ma fired her manager Vincent Herbert.
They are alleging that Vince’s marital problems with Tamar Braxton have been affecting his ability to be an effective manager for Remy.
They also claim that Vince failed to also perform basic managerial duties, something which Tamar complained about on the last season of their show, “Tamar and Vince.”
TMZ writes:
Nothing can stop Remy Ma from canning Tamar Braxton’s estranged husband, who’s been cut from Remy’s team for failing to be “super” … TMZ has learned.
Sources tell us Remy fired her recently-hired manager, Vincent Herbert, when she felt he was spending more time repairing his relationship with Tamar, than furthering Remy’s career. We’re told he came up short on promises of being a “super manager” for Remy.
We’re told Remy’s complaints include Vincent dropping the ball on basic manager duties like booking studio time, and scheduling performances. On the other hand, Remy wanted no part of Vincent’s family drama — Tamar filing for divorce and a baby mama allegation — and our sources say that stuff was his focus.
UPDATE: Vince got word to Wendy Williams this morning that the reports of Remy Ma firing him is fake news. Wendy Williams also reported Remy and Vice will have a meeting later today and he is still her manager.

It doesn’t matter who manages her. Being a successful female rapper is hard. Unfortunately, Cardi is where Remy was supposed to be. Not saying Vince didn’t deserve to be fired, but I don’t see Remy ever have major commercial success like that.
Vince and Tamar need to get it together. Their marriage issues are causing them to make some horrible decisions professionally. They have to be smarter than that.

I think Vince is lying to Wendy. Remy already said a few weeks ago that she doesn’t have a manager anymore and she’s managing herself for now.
I remember that interview as well. Honestly even if she hasn’t fired him yet, he’s not doing a very good job. Remy has released two singles. One with Lil Kim and one with Breezy. Both have flopped. What is Vince going to do to help her stand out in an industry being dominated by Cardi right now?
I’m just tired of him always bragging about Lady Gaga. She’s not even being managed by him anymore and hasn’t in years.
