‘Married to Medicine’ Recap: Heavenly Pushes Mariah to Her Breaking Point + Simone Confirms Divorce

Simone explains her son Michael’s controversial remark about only dating white girls.

She says Michael was picking at her and just trying to rile her up.

When Andy asks Heavenly what she would do if her son Damon Jr. brought a while girl home, she’s slow to answer but says she would be open-minded although she prefers he’d bring home a Michelle Obama instead.

Heavenly mentions that she did warn her son not to get trapped by any woman. She says she’s done it.

“You trapped Daddy.” – Andy

Andy asks the doctors how it feels to open up to the world about their personal lives, knowing patients can see.

Everyone says they are okay with this and Dr. Heavenly says her patients say she’s funny and makes the show.

Mariah rolls her eyes and Quad says there are “multiple stars on this couch, honey.”

Andy switches the topic to Dr. G and Quad. He asks Toya if she thinks Quad is Greg’s everything. Toya says no because all he wanted was a child.

Toya says that at the beginning of the show, Quad says her number one focus was securing the bag. So no, she hasn’t been Greg’s everything.

Quad says that she’s sacrificed a lot to be with Greg and he didn’t appreciate it. It’s made her resentful. So now she’s not interested in having his child.

Toya says she agrees with most of that but in her opinion, the resentment was there first on Quad’s end.

Contessa blames the ladies for her fallout with Miss Renee.

They discuss the fact that Contessa retired to be home more with her kids. She says as of now, she only works while her kids are at school. She got bored staying at home.

Heavenly gets emotional and says she now wishes she had stayed home with her kids.

Renee is then brought up and Mariah says she feels it was messed up that she was disrespectful to Contessa while she was employed as the nanny.

Contessa says they don’t speak anymore and she feels like the other ladies ruined their relationship because of their “classism.”

This upsets the group. Simone, Toya and Mariah point out that they only came at Renee in defense of her talking crazy to Contessa. They only wanted to defend her.

Andy then brings up that Heavenly likes to pronounce Contessa’s name as Coon-Tessa. Contessa says she knows it’s just shade but she’s not one to mess with.

Quad discusses the fact that Contessa spoke up for her after Heavenly called her out for not having Greg’s child. She says she appreciated it.

Toya gives an update on her bedroom activities with Eugene.

She says they are getting freaky more now than the tax debt has been paid off. He’s been losing weight and she says it’s made his “manhood” bigger.

Eugene has a new position, he doesn’t work nights or weekends. He’s home more.

They bring up the fact that Contessa thought their “Out the Black” party was dumb. Toya explains that they did that because they dealt with their money problems on camera.

Contessa still thinks this was dumb and unnecessary.

They discuss a viewer of the show suggesting Toya gives Eugene “oral pleasure” more and she says he feels she’s not good at it. However, other men in the past had no complaints.

Heavenly’s spiritual journey is discussed.

When asked how Heavenly’s been doing on her spiritual journey, Simone says she is moonwalking backwards.

Toya says Heavenly can just be downright mean, constantly. She says she didn’t like that Heavenly kept coming for her weight in green screen interviews.

“You have to be careful because you don’t know my walk.” – Toya

Toya reveals that she used to have an eating disorder and even got surgery at one point. She doesn’t want to go back to that place.

Heavenly says he had no idea and she was just joking. She says she can cut down on the jokes if she’s hurting feelings but they say that’s not what they are asking for.

“You flat out said I look bad.” – Toya

Jackie then says Toya has said the same things about herself.

Toya points out that Jackie has also shaded her weight in a green screen interview.

Heavenly and Jackie then call Toya out and says she throws shade as well.

Heavenly and Mariah discuss their latest beef.

Andy brings up their heated confrontations. Heavenly didn’t like the fact that Mariah tried to involve Damon.

Mariah says she thought parents and children were supposed to be off-limits.

“It’s ignorance and we don’t do that.” – Mariah

Heavenly says that saying “Yo Mama” is a joke but she knows that Mariah is sensitive about that because her mother is so messy with the other women.

Andy asks if it’s a double standard for Miss Lucy to be off-limits when Lucy has come for some of the ladies. Mariah says no because she never goes there about their mothers.

Heavenly goes off and says that Lucy threatened to shoot her on Facebook Live.

Quad then interjects and says that Mariah has been dragging her for 45 minutes on Facebook Live.

“Quad you do the same thing!” – Mariah

The conversation goes nowhere.

“What I do on my page is my business.” – Mariah

Andy gets annoyed and decides to cut to a commercial break.

At this point, Quad gets up to confront Mariah, but Aydin is not having it. He gets in front of Mariah and security escorts Quad away.

Heavenly gets real childish backstage.

Backstage, Mariah tells her associates and Aydin that some of the ladies are mad they can’t boot her off the show due to so much fan support.

Heavenly approaches her door and draws on the poster Mariah placed on the door of herself. She draws a mustache and devil horns.

Jackie sees the end result and smirks. She reports back to Simone who says she has no idea who did it. Toya and Contessa come by and figure out it was Heavenly. They all says Heavenly is childish and took it too far.

Quad then comes up once again complaining about Mariah’s Facebook Live rants. Heavenly starts screaming at Mariah about Facebook Live as well.

Mariah says it’s time for Heavenly to go so they can get this “ghetto sh*t” off the show.

She gets emotional and decides not to come back at for the remainder of taping.

Back on the set, Andy then asks Heavenly what happened and she says she was just trying to be funny.

Toya says that’s exactly what the issue with Heavenly is, she makes a joke out of the expense of others.

Andy asks if she’s willing to apologize to Mariah and she says yes.

Simone makes a big announcement.

The strained marriages become the topic.

Jackie gets emotional and says it’s been hard to deal with her issues with Curtis on TV.

Quad says it’s been tough for her and Greg, but they are trying to figure things out.

Simone says after the season wrapped up, they had a busy summer with their sons. She and Cecil put everything above their marriage. They had a blowup and they separated.

“I filed for divorce and it should be final in the next week or two.” – Simone

Everyone is stunned. Quad and Heavenly start crying.

  1. It’s obvious Quad and Heavenly agreed to tag team Mariah and deflect back to her Facebook Live all night. I’m not surprised. Both of them are obsessed with Mariah. Which is weird because Quad has a whole marriage she needs to worry about. Seriously.

  2. Heavenly is a bully. And it’s telling that only Contessa and Toya will point that out. The others snicker and tiptoe around that because they don’t want Mariah on the show. Please believe tides will change and one of them will become Heavenly’s new target if Mariah does end up leaving again.

  3. Heavenly is another Phaedra. Fake Christian who brings up God to deflect from their evil ways. Like Phaedra, Heavely will go too far one day and get kicked off the show. Just wait on it.

  4. I know this is reality tv and I shouldn’t be so invested but I do not like Quad. Fake a-s b-tch! I like Mariah and I hate the way she has been treated on the show!

  5. Toya is the realest person on this show. She will always call people out on their foolishness and I appreciate that.

  6. Mariah has been going on FB Live for the last two or three seasons. Why is it an issue for Fraud and Hellish now?

  7. Heavenly finally confirmed that she has mommy issues. For a woman to call her own daughter a b word shows me there’s a lot of dysfunction there. And Heavenly has absorbed that dysfunction and brings it into the relationships she has with other women. Now I believe she’s very loving to her daughter but she’s very nasty to her actual peers. She needs some real therapy. Not the play play spiritual counseling she’s getting from her home girl.

  8. I’m so sick Quad and this victim act we’ve seen it since season 2 can she move on to something else. And Heavenly uses God, bullying and the “I’m playing” act as a deflection from her own issues that will one day surface on the show. WAIT ON IT

  9. I’ve been watching Mariah’s Lives. She rarely talks about Quad. Anytime she does, it’s because someone in the comments asked her for her opinions on Greg and Quad’s marriage. And Mariah has said she feels bad for Greg because she knows he is going to look like the bad guy when their are issues on both sides. Quad just wants to argue with Mariah because her feelings are still hurt by a friendship she claimed she was glad to end.

  10. Now Quad knows damn well she never wanted to have any kids with Gregory. And that’s why she had a new excuse for why she wasn’t trying to do it every season. But she doesn’t strike me as the motherly type anyway. Not al women want to be mothers and that is fine.

  11. Jackie is a mess. For her to be a OBGYN, it’s disgusting that she sat on that stage and said she and Heavenly have a right to go in on Toya’s weight. She sat up there and snickered about Heavenly drawing on Mariah’s poster. And she’s always throwing the nastiest shade in her confessionals and then acting like she didn’t say those things. I’m really glad Toya called her out.

  12. Heavenly better keep it cute before her tea gets spilled. She’s acting like her marriage is perfect but I definitely heard that Damon cheats A LOT. So her admitting she trapped him makes a lot of sense. He does act like he just tolerates her most of the time.

    1. Damon cheats, get out of here. LOL They don’t really mesh to me, she’s loud & ghetto and he’s jive laid back & quiet. Also, there is no perfect marriage & for sure he tolerates her since he’s probably waiting for his time to escape from her. Well, I’ll be darn.

  13. Heavenly’s actions is proof that what Eugene said was true. Heavenly is a walking stereotype and an embarrassment to all educated black women.

  14. I have to say Heavenly is really a guttersnipe. By her actions, you would not think she’s college educated and damn sure not a dentist. I’ll tell you what, she damn sure won’t be working on MY teeth. If she’s willing to act a fool for a little Bravo change, she can’t be that successful at her real job. Maybe that’s why the Yelp reviews for her office are a hot mess. But I guess she doesn’t care because all she wants to be is a realty star anyway. How pathetic.

Also I wonder what the breaking point was for Simone. I’m getting the vibes that Cecil acts one way on TV and another when the cameras aren’t around.

  15. You can tell Quad has been taking some acting class. Sis is nothing but an actress. Knows how to cry and smile on cue and everything. She needs to go ahead and divorce that man. She never loved him anyway.

  16. I didn’t think I could like Quad and Heavenly any less but this did it for me. I can’t stand either one of them. They need to get off Mariah’s t-ts and find new storylines next season. Especially Quad. She had more to say about Mariah than her mess of a marriage.

  17. Ok so Jackie said she put Eugene on a 500 calories a day diet. For her to be a doctor, how does she not know that isn’t a healthy diet for any adult? Some of her actions make me question her as a doctor. Not to mention she completely defending fat shaming Toya, even after Toya told her she had a eating disorder. I definitely look at her differently now.

  18. I think it’s interesting that many ppl are bashing Quad for saying something to Mariah about her Facebook live statements however; I’m wondering if someone did them that way if they’d be quick to feel the way they’re feeling about Quad.. IMO no one is a victim on this show. They all are very disrespectful and shady. They all behave like high schoolers who like to start drama and spread gossip. And they all feel like they deserve a pass but can talk about someone else and their character.
