Tamar and Toni Braxton’s sisters sat down with Essence to promote the current season of “Braxton Family Values.” Towanda, Traci and Trina all addressed the elephant in the room; Tamar’s divorce drama with Vincent Herbert.
According to the sisters, they are standing behind Tamar despite the drama you’ve seen on BFV.
First, the Essence host asked if the sisters even talk to Vince amid the divorce drama.
Towanda said the following:
We don’t really have a relationship with him right now. We’re just trying to deal with it every day, you know; day by day.
Umm, well, we don’t know if they’re actually getting a divorce. You know, some days we’re like are they getting a divorce? And some days, we’re like are they not getting a divorce?
So we basically mind our business now when it come to those two, because you just never know.
Later on, Towanda answers when asked if they will address Tamar and Vince’s divorce publicly, like their mother Evelyn. Towanda revealed that Tamar and Vince have always had a “Jody and Yvonne,” volatile kind of relationship.
We let her address it. At the end of the day, we’re always going to be in the wrong. We don’t even feel like playing that game. We’re too grown for that.
When asked if she’d seen more altercations between Vince and Tamar, Towanda said:
It was definitely more, it was definitely more. It’s always… You know they have a very tumultuous relationship. Always… It’s you know, “I hate you Jody” type of relationship.
It’s on and off and off and on type of situation. We’ve witnessed a lot of things as sisters, if you can imagine. So, we’ve been holding back and not saying anything for years.
Next, Trina was asked if she forgave Tamar for how she acted when she and Gabe divorced. She forgave Tamar, mentioning she and Vince are “going through it.”
At the time, it was very hurtful but, I definitely forgive her. You do have to be very careful and very mindful of how you treat people when they’re going through [it] because you never know if you’re gonna go through that same thing.
I’m sure she doesn’t want us treating her situation the same way she treat ours.
But, I’m there for her, love her and that’s my sister. That’s all that matters.
Lastly, Trina said she’s dating someone new and they will be featured on the current season of “Braxton Family Values.”

I know they are telling the truth but this is why Tamar thinks they are all messy. They keep telling her business.
Tamar really isn’t doing any promotion. I wonder if this will be her last season.
Her a-s an’t gong nowhere. She loves the check. She’s just in her feelings as usual.
It’s going to be interesting to see who Trina’s new boo is. She haven’t had much luck in the men department especially when she brings them on TV. I would have like to hear the sisters talk about that mess of a coupe Toni and Birdman. I still refuse to believe it!
I just don’t think Tamar will ever truly divorce Vince.
Hopefully Trina isn’t sleeping with Gabe anymore.
