If you’ve been keeping up with Azealia Banks, then you already have a good idea about where she stands when it comes to Cardi B.
During her recent appearance on The Breakfast Club, Azealia claimed that Cardi is able to get away with her risqué behavior because she’s not a black woman.
In fact, Azealia labeled the rapper as a caricature of a black woman.
This upset Cardi and after exchanging some jabs online, Cardi decided to temporarily deactivate her Instagram account.
Cardi is back on social media and has seemingly moved on from the topic now that she’s been busy promoting her music video for “Be Careful.”
Regardless, the controversy isn’t going to make Azealia go mute.
Earlier today on Twitter, she shared more opinions on her peers.
And she feels Remy Ma made a wrong move in going after Nicki Minaj.

When you go at someone more successful than you, you are voluntary placing yourself in their shadow permanently. It was the wrong move for her.

I agree but Azealia suffers from the same problem. If she would just shut up and focus on herself, she’d have a better career.
It’s a number of things but the beef didn’t help. For one thing Remy’s music just isn’t catchy enough. Cardi is a different story.
When most of your stans are just Nicki haters, you’re not going to be successful. Remy doesn’t have enough authentic stans. So her music continues to flop. The first rule to this is building an authentic fan base. I have my issues with Cardi but it’s clear she really does have fans. They buy her music and support her projects. Just like the barbs.

I can’t say Azealia is wrong. Focusing so much on Nicki when she should have been focusing on herself s exactly why Cardi blew up. Remy thought Nicki was her competition but it turned out to be Cardi. Even Cardi understood she needed to at least pretend to be cordial with Nicki until she was big enough to stop pretending.
It’s interesting that she doesn’t realize that her comments can apply to her as well. Azealia is more known for her beefs than her actual music.
