Drake made an appearance on HBO’s “The Shop” and spoke to his good friend LeBron. Always appearing excited whenever around LeBron, this episode wasn’t an exception.

During his time on the show, LeBron’s close friend Maverick Carter brings up Drake’s beef this year with Kanye West and Pusha T. Maverick referred to it as one of Drake’s hardest times in his life.

Drake first brought up how Kanye linked up with him. He wrote some verses for Kanye. However, Drake got suspicious when Kanye was persistent on learning his release date for “Scorpion” and hearing tracks from it. When Drake got invited to head out to Wyoming, 40 headed out there first and learned ‘Ye was working on an album.

But, that didn’t bother Drake. He also apparently showed Kanye pictures of his son and talked about his troubles with his baby’s mother. Drake got apparently blindsided when Kanye not only revealed all of the release dates for his Wyoming projects, centering around Drake’s release date.

Of course, Pusha-T’s album came out first and he dissed Drake, bringing up ghostwriting rumors. This surprised Drake because he was just in Wyoming writing for Kanye’s album. Initially, he didn’t want to respond, but after a conversation with LeBron and Maverick, Drake released “Duppy Freestyle.”

Pusha-T then released his response, “Life of Adonis,” where he wished death on Drake’s friend 40 who is suffering from Multiple Sclerosis.

That one specific line angered Drake deeply and he prepared a track of his own. However, he told LeBron and Maverick he changed his mind about releasing it. Instead he put new tracks on “Scorpion” including “In my Feelings.”
