TI is shooting a music video with Meek Mill.

It’s for his song Jefe on his upcoming album.

When they wrap up the shoot, TI thanks Meek for coming out to film. In a green screen interview, TI says he’s known Meek for years. He met Meek while Meek was just a battle rapper.

With Meek also having a record and being a huge advocate of prison reform, TI really relates to him.

Toya visits Reginae on the set of her first acting gig.

She’s super proud of Reginae, even though she’s still not happy Reginae dropped out of college.

Reginae is happy to see her.

Things are still going good between Reginae and Lucci. Both have been very busy working. In a green screen interview, Toya says she wishes her mother would start grinding too.

Things aren’t moving forward with her mother’s book. Toya would help her mother if she proved to be serious.

King wants to be Heiress’ manager.

With her new nail polish line coming out, he wants to have input on the commercial.

Tiny comes in and shuts this down.

She already knows how she wants the commercial to go.

Heiress will be portrayed as a baby boss. All of her siblings will be working for her in the commercial.

TI gives King a warning.

While riding in the car, TI confronts King for having bad grades in school.

Teachers feel like King is on the phone all the time and he has a smart mouth.

“You are in breach of contract, son.” – TI

So he tells King that if he doesn’t straighten up, he’s going to lose all his privileges. No phone, no hanging out and he has to get a haircut. But for now, he’s on punishment. There will also be no extracurricular activities.

He’s also prepared to give King an “a*s whooping” if he doesn’t get it together.

It’s Girl’s Night.

Tiny tells Monica, LeToya, and Toya that TI has been really wearing multiple hats career wise.

But she’s worried about King. He’s on punishment but she needs him for the commercial. So she’s going to have to see if she can get TI to agree to allowing King to be in the commercial.

Toya tells the girls that she watched Reginae film her fist acting gig.

LeToya praises Toya for supporting Reginae and her dreams.

And things may now be coming together for her mother’s book.

Speaking of parents, Monica says that she will talk to her mother before she tries to get clarity from her father.

“I don’t like no smoke. I just want answers.” – Monica

TI checks up on Messiah at Georgia State.

He’s in the library studying.

Messiah says he had a conversation about white supremacy with a nonblack peer.

They then discuss voting. TI tells Messiah about the importance of voting. Since Messiah is 18, he wants Messiah to understand that true power comes from voting.

So TI is putting together a voter registration and he invites Messiah to come out.

Monica takes her daughter horseback riding.

She’s getting her first lesson.

Although her daughter was thrown off on one before, she still wanted to try to ride a horse again.

It’s important for Monica to make sure her kids experience things she didn’t get to.

While her daughter is going through her lesson, Monica decides to talk to her mom about her relationship with her father.

Her mother reminds her that she had support from other people even though her dad was not around. So she should focus on that and not her dad not being there.

At some point, Monica will talk to her dad but she realizes her mother is right.

Tiny calls a meeting with the kids about the commercial.

King is noticeably absent due to being on punishment.

The show goes on and Tiny assigns the rest of the kids their roles in the commercial.

Noticing their lack of energy, Tiny knows she has to somehow convince TI to let King be involved.

TI takes Demani and Messiah back to Bankhead.

Rapper Killer Mike rides with them.

In a green screen interview, TI says it’s important to do this every now and then to keep his sons humble.

Demani says the trip always inspires his music.

Mike and TI talk gentrification. They wonder why all rappers don’t reinvest in their own communities.

Toya’s mother finished her book.

So she meets with Toya and Reginae so they can read some of it.

Both are a bit surprised that she shared so much in her book, including past issues with drugs.

Apparently 20 chapters were written. In a green screen interview, Toya says she now sees backing off actually helped her mother. She’s so proud.

The next step is to get the book over to the editor so it can be published.

TI and Tiny have a passionate conversation about King.

While TI is planning his voter registration drive, Tiny pulls up in the parking lot so they can talk.

Tiny wonders if King is distracted in school because he’s at a new school and he has a new girlfriend.

But she still wants King in the commercial and TI isn’t having it.

“Just let me do what I’m doing.” – TI

He feels that Tiny is part of the problem when it comes to King.

“You’re very hard on him. it’s very different from the rest.” – Tiny

After Tiny suggests that TI is harder on King than the other kids, this upsets TI.

He feels King acts the way he does because he knows he can always run to Tiny and his grandmother to get what he wants.

But Tiny understands King is doing bad in school and should remain on punishment. So she’s thinking the commercial needs to be canned for now.

It’s the day of TI’s voter registration.

Reginae comes by to support and register.

She has some small talk with Messiah about working on their father’s albums. Reginae sang on Lil Wayne’s latest album. And Messiah produced one of TI’s tracks on his upcoming album.
