Many fans of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” were devastated to learn Gregg Leakes had been diagnosed with cancer.
The shocking news hasn’t been easy for NeNe Leakes to deal with.
But she’s been as strong as possible for Greg, as he’s dedicated himself to becoming cancer free.
On the season 11 premiere, he discusses the ordeal. And he breaks down as he discusses coming to terms with the fact that he could actually die.
This hit home really hard when he began to write a last letter to his son Brent.
However, after learning that he needed surgery immediately, he’s decided to fight.

In related news, NeNe has confirmed that Gregg’s surgery was a success. The cancer was removed. Gregg has also decided to do chemo and switch to a Vegan diet.
