Despite their issues, Cyn is hoping marriage happens with Joe.

Cyn is happy to spend some time at the house with her baby sisters.

As for Joe, he’s disappointed that a vacation didn’t really help their relationship much. He’s also annoyed that Cyn isn’t actually a homemaker. So he’s stuck cleaning up the house by himself.

While Cyn talks to her sisters, she tells them they need to check Joe about putting a ring on it.

Joe walks in to speak, they ask him what needs to happen for him to pop the big question.

In a green screen interview, Joe says he will propose when he’s ready. Hopefully, Cyn will start doing her “wifely duties” before that happens, according to Joe.

Self and Safaree clashed with Nicki  Minaj.

Safaree, DJ Self and Joe catch up at the park.

DJ Self and Safaree discuss the fact that Self clashed with Nicki at the radio station after he said Cardi B had the better album.

That led to Nick going off on Safaree in an interview and them going back and forth on Twitter.

Things only got more messy after MariahLynn interjected on behalf of Self.

After Joe says that it’s not a good idea to pop off on big artists, Safaree says that Joe did the same thing when he had a beef with the Migos.

Juju pushes the issue.

With Juelz heading to prison soon, Kimbella has really been stressed out.

So she lets off some steam on a punching bag at the gym.

Not too long after, Juju comes to check up on her.

Kimbella says she’s upset that Juelz won’t own the fact that drug abuse is why he’s where he is currently. She’s thinking this may cause him to relapse also.

Juju tells Kimbella she understands how she feels. And Kimbella says she had to speak her mind even if the time wasn’t the best. But Juju tells Kimbella she should make peace with Juelz before he leaves for prison. Juju also thinks Kimbella should make up with Yandy as well.

However, Kimbella isn’t feeling this and wants nothing to do with Yandy.

MariahLynn returns.

After last season, she really wants to just focus on her career. Her family is depending on her to financially provide for all of them.

She meets up with Cyn and Nya Lee at a nail salon.

When she gets there, she invites both to come see her perform.

As for Cyn, she wants to make music and she’s asked Joe to write a song for her. But he hasn’t yet. Joe also wants her to take some vocal lessons.

MariahLynn shows Cyn a video of Joe showing off Cyn’s messiness at home.

They then discuss MariahLynn going at Nicki Minaj. She’s upset Nicki came at Self and threw shade at Self’s roster.

But MariahLynn isn’t the only one with beef.

In a green screen interview, Nya says that she thinks it’s shady that Self has never played her music on the radio station.

She explains this to MariahLynn who understands where Nya is coming from.

Nya admits she was very angry and aggressive at the beginning of her career. But that’s not who she is anymore after she was jumped in a nightclub by multiple girls she doesn’t even know.

“You can’t let that change you.” – Cyn

MariahLynn says that her mother being a drug addict and her father being in prison are things she couldn’t help. But some people use these things to put her down.

A tearful Nya Lee can relate.

Jonathan makes a confession.

It’s the anniversary of Jonathan’s father’s death.

It’s a very emotional day for him.

He lights a candle in his father’s memory and his sister Jazmine comes by to see him. Jonathan was 8 years old when his father passed.

Jazmine and Jonathan discuss how their dad was accepting of Jonathan.

Jonathan says his dad was also the only one who understood him.

This as well as falling out with some of his friends has been very stressful.

In a green screen interview, Jonathan says he’s been numbing his pain with anxiety pills and alcohol. He tells Jazmine done taking pills. But he realizes that he had no business mixing the pills with alcohol.

He’s convinced that’s the source of most of his problems.

They hug it out.

Cyn confronts Joe.

They go on a day date.

It doesn’t long for Cyn to bring up the video Joe posted on social media.

“Was it shaming?” – Joe

Joe says if she’s bothered by the video, she should just clean up. He’s also been suggesting they get a nanny. After Joe says he’s been too busy working and providing for Cyn and the baby to look for a nanny at times, Cyn gets annoyed. She stresses that she can provide for herself.

The conversation goes nowhere.

Mendeecees wants Yandy to make up with Kimbella.

Yandy gets a collect call from Mendeecees from prison.

They only get 15 minutes to talk.

He tells her that Juelz told him he just copped a plea. This saddens Yandy.

So he thinks Yandy and Kimbella need to hash things out so they can be there for each other. But Yandy says she’s not the one who caused the rift. She also feels like Kimbella has used her for years.

Yandy also doesn’t like that Kimbella blasted her on social media.

She’s not wanting to talk to Kimbella but Mendeecess feels it’s best.

Safaree and Jaquae talk things out.

While MariahLynn is on stage performing, Cyn is at the club with Nya Lee.

Jaquae is in the building as well.

Safaree comes through and speaks to MariahLynn.

In a green screen interview, Safaree says the kiss they shared last season was just a moment of weakness. They are just friends and nothing more.

Not too long after, Jaquae comes up to speak. MariahLynn senses the tension. Safaree then tells MariahLynn what Kiyanne said.

Jaquae says that he would never say anything like that and he was there for Safaree when he was robbed. He knows it actually happened.

So Safaree is now willing to trust Jaquae and end the feud. So they dap it up.

Nya has friction with Self.

While at MariahLynn’s show, Self comes by to speak to Nya and Cyn.

He congratulates both women on becoming mothers.

It doesn’t take long for Nya to tell Self her issue with him. She feels he should have supported her music since she looks at him like a big brother.

But Self says Nya never included him in her music. Plus, they aren’t even close. Nya says this is a lie and he was never serious about listening to her music. Self explains that an artist has to be hungry and stay on a DJ to make sure their music gets heard. He frankly doesn’t feel like Nya is hungry enough.

Nya says that men in the industry mistreat women who are trying to make a name for themselves. But Self feels she’s just making excuses for not hustling hard enough.

She storms off in tears.

Jonathan calls a meeting.

Juju and Cyn are there already.

In a green screen interview, Juju says she doesn’t know what to expect from Jonathan.

Yandy shows up minutes later.

After Jonathan arrives, he speaks to all three women. He says there are more on the way. But he did not invite Anais because he didn’t want to take a chance on things only getting worse.

He has a lot on his mind.

Plus, Kimbella is coming.

While he understands that Yandy and Kimbella have issues, he has something important to tell all of them.

Jonathan explains he’s hooked on anxiety pills and mixes them with alcohol.

Sometimes he doesn’t even remember what he said or did.

Juju understands this and asks why he’s so upset with her. He says they are friends and he was just hurt about the podcast. But Juju says she’d rather have him as a friend than a podcast. So they make up and agree to move on from the issue.

Then Kimbella shows up.

She explains that she was hurt that Jonathan tried to instigate a situation between her and Juju. Juju then tries to talk, but Yandy interrupts and says she can bring up the elephant in the room herself.

Yandy then asks Kimbella if they can go off to the side to talk. Kimbella agrees to this.

When they get alone, Kimbella says they have nothing to talk about until Yandy owns who she really is.

In a green screen interview, Yandy says the real issue is she did take a break from communicating with Kimbella because during Kimbella’s last breakup with Juelz, Yandy was put square in the middle.

She got tired of it and took a break from the friendship. This hurt Kimbella and she feels Kimbella isn’t really upset about the baby momma drama from seasons ago. Kimbella is really upset Yandy put some distance between them.

Regardless, Yandy says that she wants to be there for Kimbella as Juelz heads to prison. But Kimbella says all Yandy does is post whatever she can to make herself look good on social media. She’s not convinced Yandy won’t use Juelz’s prison stint as a means to keep up her image.

So until Yandy can be authentic enough for Kimbella, she’s not interested in being friends again.
