Boogie and Dame squash their beef, for now.
The episode begins in LA as Damon and Boogie’s sit-down continues. Ava does her best to get them to talk.
Dame goes off on Boogie saying Boogie only came because he got paid. Boogie feels Dame is putting up a front for the cameras. This is despite Dame saying he doesn’t want him to die from drug use.
“Boogie, I honestly thought you were gonna die.” – Dame
He then tells Boogie he regrets how he’s acted. Boogie says he relapsed only once in four months since leaving rehab.
The two end their talk sharing a big hug. In his interview, Dame says Boogie still has to prove he’s beyond his addiction.
Meanwhile, Angela FaceTimes Romeo and invites him to her event at the Santa Anita racetrack. She wants to invite Vanessa but thinks Vanessa will be apprehensive to go since their tough talk about Pastry.
At Vanessa’s office, she has her daughter with her as she’s opening a package. Inside the package, it’s a new pair of shoes from Pastry for her daughter Ava. Vanessa’s still salty that Angela told her not to do Pastry without her.
She still wants to pass down the company to her daughter.
Her mom calls and Vanessa tells her about Angela inviting her to the event at the racetrack. Despite this, Vanessa hopes she and Angela can put everything behind them.
Aundre’s wife puts Pepa on blast.
Egypt and Sam are working out together when Egypt gets texts from everyone about Pepa’s boyfriend Aundre. Aundre’s ex-wife blasted his relationship with Pepa, calling Pepa a home wrecker.
Egypt says when Pepa met Aundre, Aundre wasnt wearing a ring and Sam’s ready for a fight.
Meanwhile, Angela and Romeo are in a hotel room together getting massages, sipping champagne. Angela thinks Romeo’s tired and over-worked.
“You have to sacrifice if you want success.” – Romeo
Angela’s concern impresses Romeo. Things get awkward when Romeo asks her, “How many p*nises did you have?” Angela doesn’t answer. Despite saying he wasn’t flirting, he appears to be when he takes off his shirt during the massage.
Tee Tee’s in the studio with Egypt and Egypt shows off her dog Low-key. Of course, they are talking about Aundre’s ex calling Pepa a home wrecker. Egypt wants to publicly defend Pepa but Tee Tee advises her not to do this.
While they’re talking, rapper Rich Homie Quan calls Tee and invites her out to hang out when he comes to LA.
“Quan became an option when I saw all of the diamonds on his wrist. Hopefully one of those diamonds will land on my wrist.” – Tee Tee
Before Tee Tee leaves, she once again advises Egypt not to respond to the hate Pepa’s receiving on Instagram. However, Egypt doesn’t listen and jumps into the fray.
Angela and JoJo are shopping for Angela’s Race Track Party and Angela wants a unique look for the party. She advises JoJo to talk to Romeo about being stressed out. He tells her to invite “everyone” to the event.
Tee Tee tells Pepa about Aundre’s wife.
Later that night, Tee Tee heads to see Pepa to talk about the slander on Instagram. Pepa doesn’t seem to know about it and appears to be blindsided when Tee Tee tells her about Aundre’s ex.
Tee Tee’s calling it misinformation and Pepa says she’s going to deal with it. When Tee Tee tells Pepa Egypt defended her on social media, Pep’s proud she did it.
It’s the day of Angela’s event and everyone is showing up. Angela reminisces over her grandfather taking her to the race track. Boogie texts Dame that he’s not coming to the event. But Romeo shows up fashionably late.
When Dame runs into Tyran, he tells him bout his father being the Treach of the drug game. Later, Dame tells Angela he and Rocky are looking at having a child.
Vanessa is snubbed by Angela.
Overall the event’s going well and Angela and Romeo are flirtatious with one another as they taking photos. JoJo notices his sister getting cozy with Angela. Angela takes Jojo and Romeo to the horse’s winner circle and leaves Vanessa behind. This makes Vanessa feel bad.
“I’m a little hurt… I’m being snubbed and it sucks.” – Vanessa
At the winner’s circle, Romeo cracks a joke on Bow Wow saying he could be one of the horse Jockeys.
After everything happened at the winner’s circle, JoJo checks in on Vanessa. Vanessa tells him about what happened with her time back with Pastry. She gets teary-eyed when she brings up Angela not doing Pastry but JoJo tells her to move on.
“There ain’t no more Run’s House, It’s Vanessa’s house.” – JoJo
Later on, Romeo and JoJo agree to work on a record but JoJo doesn’t think he’s serious. After the event, JoJo joins Tee Tee and Vanessa to talk about Briana. Apparently, Briana’s still frustrated with Vanessa despite telling her they’re cool.
Speaking of Briana, Briana and Boogie are in the studio together. She wants to work with him but there may be feelings between them and that could mess with their vibe in the studio.
