One of the reasons Cardi B is so successful is plenty of people feels she’s real and relatable.
In fact, being real is one of the reasons Cardi wasn’t against defending herself on social media.
Critics feel like this wasn’t a wise thing for Cardi to do, but her career continues to survive her nontraditional approach to fame.
However, these days Cardi feels like clapping back a little less each day.
And it’s all because of motherhood, plus realizing that arguing online doesn’t amount to anything worth while.
Here’s what she told Harper’s Bazaar:
Sometimes I’ll see something online and it’ll piss me off, and then my baby will start crying or something, and it’s like, ‘You know what? I’ve got to deal with the milk. Forget this.’
I’ve noticed that every time you respond, you just make things worse, so I’m over it. I’m just over it. I really don’t need it, and sometimes it just brings chaos to my brain.
