This season of “Black Ink Crew Chicago” has been quite dramatic for Charmaine and Lily. Specifically, Charmaine’s been on a crusade to have Lily removed from the show over her extensive use of the N-word.

Well, as this Wednesday’s episode’s set to premiere, Charmaine is doubling down on her crusade, detailing new allegations.

Not only does she claim Lilly’s used the N-word towards her, but she called Charmaine’s boyfriend the N-word and called Charmaine a “White Girl.”

How can a non black woman question anyone’s blackness? That’s very bold and disrespectful.

The f-ck? What does Charmaine mean she doesn’t think Lily is racist? Only a racist would associate struggle/being from the projects with true blackness. Yes, Lily’s a-s is racist and that’s why she loves using the N-word the way she does. I don’t like that obvious sh-t is still being sugar coated. If you’re going to call her out, call her all the way out sh-t.

The more Lily defends herself, the more ignorant she looks.

Wait did that white latina really tweet Charmaine that she wishes someone would tell her what she can and can’t say? That’s the sh-t I’m talking about. These people are racist! They are no different than racist white people but they alway want black people to support their causes. Ugh! Black people have a right to say who can’t use a word that has a hurtful history attached to it that impacts us. If they can’t understand that, they are racist. Lily included.

How were some of these people raised? I was raised to show people respect and respect means you do your best not to offend people. If a group of people tell you they don’t like you using a word, have enough class and decency not to use the word. That’s part of being a good and decent person.

Notice how black people don’t go around saying w-t backs in your daily conversations. So why don’t we deserve the same respect? It says a lot and you get to see people’s true colors when this topic comes up.

You make a good point. In situations like this where someone is asked to stop, refuses, and doesn’t face any consequences we should send that same energy back. Replace the n-word with the word for their people then if and when they take issue with it, point out their own hypocrisy. Nothing else will get into the heads of the self-righteous.

It’s all fun and games until a black person who is not scary busts Lily in the mouth.

I wish everyone had this same energy and enthusiasm when someone is saying this very ignorant and derogatory word in our own culture. No one should get a “pass” to call someone that word specifically bc of where it originated from. Some black ppl thinks it’s ok to use if you say it in a joking or supposedly amicable way. I disagree. This is why others not in our culture feel like it’s acceptable. The word should be eradicated from our vocabulary. I don’t care how you use it.. the word is derogatory.

The black ink crew are cowards. They outnumber Lily and are still scared to check her. This is exactly why OTHER races can say whatever the f-ck they want to us.

I honestly can’t stand Lily. The show has been trash since she’s been on it.

Black people better wake up. Every other minority race looks down on black people. Every last one of them. That is why someone from the gutter like Lily has no problem using the n word and questioning a black woman’s blackness. Now these young black people can defend Lily all they want, but they will learn one day.
