Part one of the season 2 reunion of LHHMIA was an interesting one.
Amara was called out for not defending Veronica after she was accused of being racist.
The accusations stem from the fact that Veronica has used the N-word and had no regrets about doing so on social media.
She even claimed that she can say the word because she has black family members.
After being dragged by a lot of viewers, Veronica expressed that she felt Amara should have defended her although they weren’t friends at the time.
Interestingly enough, Trick Daddy and Bobby Lytes agreed with her.
And no one really sided with Amara about this.
When Nina asked Jessie Woo how she felt about this, Jessie said:
I was one of the people on social media who slammed her for using that word. But talking to her, I feel that she’s not someone who’s saying n*gga because she’s disregarding the black experience. She’s saying n*gga because she’s influenced by the black experience.
So I feel like she didn’t have the platform to say that. And I hope that now people will understand where you’re coming from.
What do you make of this exchange between Amara & Veronica?

After receiving some backlash, Jessie hopped on Twitter to clarify some things.
She wanted to make it clear that she’s not okay with Veronica using the N-word. And neither is Miami Tip.
