Fans of R&B singer Monica have been wondering about the status of her marriage for months now.
Some even speculated that it was over last October.
Then some “Friends & Family Hustle” viewers stated they thought it was weird that Shannon didn’t make too many appearances on the show.
Regardless, Monica attempted to silence the speculation by putting a fresh photo of her and Shannon together on her Instagram page.
However, TMZ is now reporting that Monica has filed for divorce.
Apparently she pulled the trigger earlier this month.
It’s unclear if Monica is seeking child or spousal support.
She and Shannon have one biological child together, their five-year old daughter Laiyah.
The estranged couple married back in 2010.
