‘Friends & Family Hustle’ Recap: Tiny & TI Are Back to Living Together + King Gets Frustrated

Tiny is going to move back in with TI.

However, it will be a process because the lake house is getting some renovations. So TI is living with Tiny in the meantime. While they get back adjusted to this, Tiny tells TI that everything she has is his.

The kids seem to be happy that they are living together again.

Zonnique owns her own house and her boyfriend lives there as well.

TI warns her not to get pregnant before marriage.

Messiah is turning 19.

And Deyjah is ready to graduate from high school.

King is still struggling in school.

With the kids growing up so fast, Tiny wants them to start having Sunday dinners. Kim Porter’s death actually made Tiny realize how short life is and the importance of family time.

LeToya is now a mother.

She gave birth to a daughter a month ago.

The couple is now living in an apartment. They have a house being built in Texas and a rental house in Atlanta.

So LeToya will still be traveling back and forth.

Since their daughter was born tongue-tied, they have to help her do special exercises.

LeToya gets a FaceTime call from her dad. Her parents divorced when she was 10, so they weren’t all that close.

But they are working on their relationship. Her dad upset her when he took a screen shot of a past FaceTime call and sent it out to others. She didn’t want to talk to him for three weeks.

But they are back on good terms now, so she invites him to the baby’s first photo shoot.

Things are going great for Toya.

She and Red are working on a new fitness ventures. They have been together for three years and she’s still happy.

She and Tiny head to Monica’s place.

Monica can’t talk because she has a vocal cord injury. So she has to communicate using her phone and Siri.

With Monica having a performance coming up for Super Bowl weekend, she wants to make sure the performance is a good one.

Toya, Reginae, Tiny and Zonnique do some cryotherapy.

Things have been great for Reginae. Her acting career is taking off and she’s still dating YFN Lucci.

When Tiny says she’s pushing for Sunday family dinners, everyone says this is a good idea except Zonnique.

Zonnique would prefer to stay in and watch Netflix.

TI hits the gym with his friends and Messiah.

He enjoys working out and credits his time in prison for his gym passion.

In a green screen interview, TI says that he and Tiny are still trying to get used to living together again.

At the gym, TI asks Messiah what his carer plans are.

As for now, Messiah just wants to do music.

TI feels all his kids need to work hard and not expect things to be handed to them.

LeToya and Tommi are happy with the progress of their custom-built house.

The house is in Texas and they come by to see it with Madison.

Things are looking great.

With her parents not getting along, LeToya is scared that her parents may clash at the baby’s first photo shoot.

King is frustrated.

He tells Monica and Tiny that he wants his music career to pop off.

While he’s spending a lot of time in the studio, he wants success to be immediate.

King also doesn’t like that Tiny keeps telling him how to do things and Tiny reminds him she can do what she wants as his mother.

LeToya catches up with her mother.

When her mother asks about her weight gain, LeToya doesn’t want to talk about it.

At this point, LeToya is more worried about her v*gina. It’s not where she wants it to be.

They then discuss LeToya’s father.

He wants to be more involved and LeToya doesn’t want there to be any drama.

TI and Tiny have a date night.

It’s not always easy for them to spend time together around the kids.

They do a lot of flirting on their date.

In a green screen interview, Tiny says TI is acting like how he did when they first got together. They are really in a good place.

The couple discusses King.

He feels like his parents are holding him back when it comes to his music career.

But TI feels school should be King’s priority.

Monica hits the stage.

Although the doctor told her to lip-sync, she refuses and decides to sing live.

Toya and Tiny miss the performance due to traffic.

Regardless, Monica is happy that they were there to tell her they are proud of her afterwards.

It’s the family’s first official Sunday dinner.

TI tastes some vegan chicken and enjoys it.

The whole family sits at the table and says a prayer.

When King is asked about school, he says he wants to do home school so he can focus on his music. But TI is not having it.

He tells King that his music career won’t happen now because he hasn’t put in the work.

King breaks down crying and says he wants to make a name for himself now.

TI tells all the women to stop babying him and let him go through his journey.

In a green screen interview, Tiny says that she doesn’t think TI understands that King really wants to make music.

King walks off crying and TI tells everyone to stop coddling him.

A little later, TI has another conversation with King.

He tells King that struggle makes him a better leader.

And although King doesn’t like his school, he needs to graduate because struggles in life are never-ending.

In a green screen interview, King says he doesn’t agree with TI’s advice because he’s doesn’t have the same childhood that TI did.
