Although it was rumored Nipsey’s alleged killer Eric Holder argued with the rapper before allegedly killing him, Nipsey’s business partner Herman Douglas told a different version of events.

According to Herman, Eric originally walked up to him and Nipsey to start a conversation.

He reportedly told both men he was a rapper and even shook their hands.

Holder is said to have then left to buy a burger, then returned to shoot Nipsey.

Herman said no one could have guessed Eric would do this.

And Nipsey’s brother Samiel told the LA Times that this is how Nipsey was killed.

After thinking things over, Samiel tells the publication that it all feels like an “execution.”

In Samiel’s opinion, the shooting was either rooted in jealousy or it was a hit job.

He just can’t understand why Nipsey’s alleged killer would shake his hand before killing him.

Samiel also says that no one around Nipsey at the time of the shooting had a gun on them. Since The Marathon Clothing store mostly hired felons, they were prohibited from having guns.

So the shooter was able to get away without retaliation.

Samiel told the LA Times:

Because of that, the man was able to shoot my brother, start running, realize nobody out there had a gun, stop, turn back around, walk up, shoot my brother two more times, start to run, realize nobody had a gun, nobody was responding, ran back up and shot my brother three more times, shoot him in the head and kicked him in the head and then ran off.

If somebody would’ve been there — if I would’ve been there — I would’ve shot back. I just wish I would’ve been there.
