Gizelle is back with Sherman.
It’s one week until Candiace’s wedding.
Gizelle is at home, prepping food for her daughters.
She tells them she’s going to Candiace’s wedding with Sherman. Her kids are happy to hear this because they love Sherman.
But Gizelle says they broke up due to communication issues. They eventually got back together.
The couple has been in therapy since.
She also wants to mend her friendship with Karen.
Karen is still upset with Gizelle.
As for Karen, she’s still really upset with Gizelle. She feels like Gizelle attacked her way too much last season.
After Gizelle says that the issue is Karen can’t take her jokes, her daughter says that perhaps Gizelle shouldn’t make any jokes.
Regardless, Gizelle plans to make things right with Karen.
Ashley and Michael are still working on their marriage.
Both are still devastated by the miscarriage. And Ashley feels like the miscarriage brought them closer together.
They are also working on having a baby.
So Ashley blindfolds Michael and they have some s*xy time with whipped cream.
Ashley has been taking a holistic approach, which includes yoga, drinking less, eating healthy and meditation.
Producers then flash to two months later, Michael was charged with s*xual assault. A RHOP cameraman accused Michael of groping him.
Producers then return to Ashley and Michael enjoying their passionate moment before these events transpired.
Dorothy is a wild card.
Candiace and Chris discuss wedding planning.
Both are stressed out. Turns out a full year wasn’t enough time.
They discuss the seating chart. Chris asks Candiace if she’s spoken to her mother Dorothy about her half brother being invited.
Apparently her brother was born from her father’s affair.
Candiace says that the affair happened before her parents were married but they stayed together and got married anyway. Then she was born.
It’s a painful situation for Dorothy.
Candiace and Chris worry that Dorothy may end up removing Candiace from her life if her half brother is at the wedding.
In a green screen interview, Candiace says she feels like Dorothy feels like she owns her because she contributes so much financially.
And with them being $100,000 over for the wedding, she doesn’t want to cross her mother.
Matt comes over to visit Karen.
In a green screen interview, Karen says Matt is a true friend. She’s thankful he came to her father’s funeral.
She lost both parents in seven months.
It’s been hard to live without having her parents around.
Gizelle calls up Robyn.
She tells her she’s in Karen’s neighborhood. Gizelle is going to stop by with some cookies.
“Good luck with that.” – Robyn
Things are going great with Karen’s upcoming fragrance. She even bought a billboard for it in Times Square.
She gets a phone call from Gizelle who tells her she’s in the neighborhood.
Karen says it’s not a good time for them to hang out because she’s still grieving.
Gizelle accepts this and they hang up the phone.
She tells Matt about the phone call.
“When will Gizelle ever learn?” – Karen
Gizelle drops off the cookies.
Karen says that Ashley and Robyn also need to apologize to her.
Gizelle may have consoled her at the reunion regarding her parents’ death, but she doesn’t think this was genuine.
A few minutes later, Gizelle calls back.
She tells Karen she has some cookies for her. Gizelle just wants to drop the cookies off.
Karen says Matt can grab the cookies and Gizelle says she doesn’t want to see Matt.
So Gizelle is allowed to drop off the cookies on Karen’s front porch.
When Karen opens the door and doesn’t see her, Karen is over it.
A little while later, Gizelle comes and hands the cookies over. Karen says she will reach out to Gizelle later. She thinks it’s sweet that Gizelle’s daughters may have baked the cookies.
Monique is having baby number three.
She’s feeling like this may be her last pregnancy, but Chris could have more kids.
“If it’s a boy, I’m definitely done.” – Monique
Monique doesn’t want to have a baby shower, but she wants to do something.
When it comes to the group, Chris says Monique needs to apologize to Gizelle for saying Sherman was arrested for getting caught with an escort.
Monique feels like she should apologize to Sherman and Gizelle.
She really just wants to make things right since Sherman never did anything to her.
Robyn and Juan are in a great place.
They go to a spa together.
“We’ve been like bunny rabbits, okay?” – Robyn
Robyn is still doing real estate and Juan is enjoying his new coaching job.
They are still living together. Robyn sees so much potential when it comes to her relationship.
Candiace gets some clarity from Karen.
Karen stops by Candiace’s place.
They get along well and Karen appreciates that it’s always laughs and good times between them.
The two women discuss the wedding planning.
Candiace says the biggest issue is how Dorothy will react to the fact that her half-brother has been invited to the wedding.
While Candiace understands why her mom is still hurt, she doesn’t feel like it’s fair that her mother doesn’t want her to have a relationship with her half-brother.
Karen says Candiace is carrying too much of her mother’s baggage.
“Candiace, what are you so afraid of? What is it?” – Karen
At this moment, Candiace breaks down in tears. She says she doesn’t want Dorothy to hate her.
“She’s never gonna stop loving you.” – Karen
Karen hugs her and tells her not to have any guilt.
Candiace comes clean to Dorothy.
She becomes irate when Candiace admits she invited her half-brother to her wedding.
Dorothy feels this is disrespectful because her half-brother is a symbol of all the pain she endured.
But Candiace says it’s not fair to punish her half-brother when he’s innocent in all of this.
The situation happened 40 years ago.
While Dorothy doesn’t want to be embarrassed, Candiace gets upset and says she doesn’t care what other people think. It’s her wedding and her brother deserves to be there.
Dorothy says Candiace should be loyal to her because she raised her.
Regardless, Candiace stands firm and says that it’s her wedding and she can invite who she wants.
Candiace breaks down crying and walks away.
“Those crocodile tears don’t mean anything.” – Dorothy
