Shannade Clermont is heading to prison for a year.

The reality star and Instagram influencer was found guilty of wire fraud. Her victim, James Alesi, was found dead of a drug overdose.

Prosecutors claim James paid Shannade $400 for a “pr*stitution date.”

Shannade claims she just thought he was drunk when she left. She had no idea that he was on drugs.

Regardless, she describes the man as her former “sugar daddy.”

So she took his card and went on a $20,000 shopping spree.

She also used his card to pay rent, pay for flights and buy lavish items.

He was found dead a day after their date. And Shannade claims the whole time she was using his card, she had no idea that he was dead.

James, who happened to be a real estate broker, overdosed on fentanyl mixed with c*caine.

In a recent interview with the New York Post, Shannade tells the publication that she’s not a coldhearted gold digger.

And she is not to blame for James’ actions:

The thing was, he was known as a sugar daddy — very known. He’s not, like, an innocent person.

Shannade’s twin sister Shannon Clermont says it’s “sick” that anyone would think Shannade knew James was dead and didn’t call the police.
