“Black Ink Crew Compton” premieres August 14.

Interestingly enough, one of the cast members is already causing controversy.

During an interview, Lemeir discussed Ceaser and Ryan.

Apparently, he feels he’s a better businessman.

Lemeir also claimed that he’s smarter than both, too.

And fans are feeling like he’s out of line to be making these kinds of comments.

      LOVE THIS! Yes, so true.
      NEGATIVE NEWS = attention

My hope is these MEN will realize at a time in history where they should come together for the sake of YOUNGER GENERATION, represent “how” young successful black men can handle differences respectfully. JUST YOU GREW UP IN THE HOOD, STILL LIVIN IN THE HOOD doesn’t MEAN YOU HAVE TO ACT/LIVE LIKE YOUR “MINDSET/BEHAVIOR” STILL IN THE HOOD.

So I looked this guy up and he actually is a very successful entrepreneur. He owns a food truck business and he’s had celebrity clients like Angelina Jolie and Ellen DeGeneres. So he probably could back up what he’s saying. However, he did sign up for a reality show that Cease created. And had Ryan not have had success with the first spinoff, there’d be no Compton show. So he should have kept this opinion to himself.

He has no idea how the TV thing is going to work out. Everyone believes they will be able to do a reality show and not be sucked into the drama and politics. The truth is positivity won’t keep a reality show on the air. But outside of all the foolishness on Black Ink NY and Black Ink Chi, Ryan and Cease have done well. You can’t confuse tv with what’s real. This new guy will see that soon.

Because everyone in the Black Ink universe knows Cease or Ryan does not owns those shops. Neither of those shops were created before the reality shows premiered. Cease nor Ryan both don’t have tattoo permits for the shops and the leases aren’t even in their names it’s leased by VH1. They don’t even own the trademarks or the intellectual properties. All the black ink merchandise belongs to VH1. Ryan and Cease are nothing more than 1099 contractors from the production company. I Mean Cease was only paying 200 a month in child support, and he was behind on that.

This is a lie they both had shops BEFORE VH1 … I live in Chicago and been to Ryan’s shop before the original black ink was on tv.

Ceaser good he got multiple shops

    • Carter

      August 10, 2019 at 9:49 am

No, VH1 has multiple shops. Cease and Ryan are both chasing clout and neither one owns a store or a business.

Why can’t we, as black people, support one another instead of trying to put each other down. If it weren’t for Black Ink and Black Ink Chicago, there would not be a Black Ink Compton! Stop doing this to each other. We’re going to watch your show but respect the ones who made a platform for you. Don’t be disrespectful.

Gail,I totally commend you for what you said. This is our major downfall of how we treat each other as a nation of black people.

It’s not cool to bring anybody down to uplift yourself! At it doesn’t matter the race or the color of the skin everybody bleeds the same color n at the end of the day everybody is gonna end up the same way, ashes to ashes n dust to dust, everybody dies because we must! Can’t we all just love each other for crying out loud?! Money does not define who you are!!

You have to understand it started out being entertainment. Cease still is Ryan isn’t ..Ryan is all about business and it’s a pleasure to watch the people in his shop. I love the new shop

As far as I am concerned, when Caesar met up with Kyla Pratt boyfriend in LA, he wanted to open his own shop and not Caesar open in LA. So now that it’s about to air let’s see how this turns out. Some of you have valid points.
