Moniece Slaughter has been open about her mental health. She also takes medication on and off. When she had a panic attack in the studio on an earlier episode of LHHH, she stated the cause was an issue with her new medication. Despite the seriousness of the situation, Fizz decided to throw some shade.
On “Check Yourself,” Fizz and Apryl Jones discussed the scene of Moniece and Apryl rehearsing. He said, “It’s always a vocal lesson. It ain’t never a studio session. Oh, I forgot. She passed out the last time she was in the studio.”
Moniece was not happy when she saw the video. She took to Instagram to respond. And she said Fizz has been a trigger for her for years. So it bothers her that anyone would think she is jealous and wants to be with him.
