“Love And Hip Hop Miami” stars Amara La Negra and Jessie Woo clashed a lot on the past season. They also nearly came to blows while filming. Since then, shade has been thrown on social media. And their feelings for each other haven’t improved despite the show being on hiatus. In fact, Jessie may have thrown some shade at Amara recently.
Amara made headlines after she gave her thoughts on the latest controversy surrounding Gina Rodriguez. Gina shared video of herself singing along to “Ready or Not” by the Fugees. And she rapped the N-word. This immediately caused her to become a hot topic on social media. Many felt she should not say the word because she’s not a black person.
Well, Amara disagreed. And she expressed that Latinos should be able to say the word since they are often raised in the same communities as black people. She also believes people wouldn’t have cared if Gina didn’t have lighter skin.
Amara’s comments may not have sat well with Jessie. She penned some interesting tweets after Amara’s comments went viral. And it’s possible that she was referring to Amara.
