Folks are still talking about the incident that involves the daughter of “Love And Hip Hop Atlanta” star Sierra Gates. She was allegedly jumped by a mother and daughter in a restroom at North Atlanta High School. Before it happened, Sierra’s daughter Paris called her and told her that another student and her mother were trying to fight her in the restroom. Sierra tried to talk to the mother on the phone but the mother allegedly dropped the phone and allegedly attacked Paris with her daughter’s aid.
During an interview with Atlanta radio station V-103, Sierra and her ex-husband Rod Gates talked about the incident. Sierra said that the young lady that Paris had the issue with was a friend. And she came over Sierra’s house often, and Paris went over the girl’s house often as well.
They had a falling out and Paris told Sierra that she feared things could get physical.
Sierra is very remorseful about not making it to the school in time to protect Paris. And the criticism she’s been getting for that has been difficult. She said that her reality television fame may have caused the fallout between her daughter and former friend. And the whole situation could be a result of jealousy.
Her daughter Paris told Sierra she wants to be a normal kid and she’s not thrilled that her mother is on television.
As for the mother who allegedly jumped Paris with the other student, she turned herself in on Thursday.
Treon F. Ponder faces counts of disrupting public school, battery, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
