When it comes to the Cookie Lady situation, Kenya Moore got a lot of backlash from “Real Housewives of Atlanta” viewers. Many felt it was mean for her to bring the woman on the show to confront Tanya. But Kenya felt like Tanya came for her first by showing the ladies her wig.
And she said that Cynthia had more to do with the situation than she let on.
Cynthia Bailey would later admit on social media that she actually tried to set up the moment first. And she actually invited the Cookie Lady to Brookyn’s birthday party. But plans didn’t work out.
Cynthia recently made an appearance on Kandi Burruss’ “Speak On It.”
She had a lot to say and she also touched on the Cookie Lady situation. She apparently feels as if Tanya should have defended her when she got some backlash on social media.
And she also claimed that she gave Tanya a heads up about the Cookie Lady earlier than people think. It seems as if she told Tanya before they went to Canada.
Cynthia said, “To be honest with you, that day I did mention, I called Tanya and I mentioned, I was like some lady said she knows whatever, whatever. But then again, she didn’t really think it was a big deal. I didn’t think it was a big deal. And that was it. I didn’t think we would ever hear from her again. She knew a lot more than she is alleging that she knew. And I gave her as much heads up on everything I knew when I knew it and that’s what you didn’t see on the show.”
She also said that she and Eva showed much more support to Tanya during the scene than the episode showed. So she wishes Tanya would have spoken up for them. And the fact that she didn’t is shady.
