Kristen’s comments angered Byron.
“Basketball Wives” fans had plenty to say after Byron Scott and Cece Gutierrez tied the knot. While many were happy to see the couple make things official, others were very interested in who secured an invite. OG caused even more speculation after she posted a photo to her Instagram account. Many assumed that she was in attendance with her boyfriend Kwame Alexander.
And many were quick to assume that Kristen Scott was not there. So after the wedding photos went viral, they began to call Kristen out on social media. They accused her of burning bridges with Byron and Cece to get in good with Shaunie O’Neal and Evelyn Lozada.
They said her desire to fit in hurt her relationship with her family.
For Byron, he was just about done with Kristen after she accused him of not seeing his grandchild.
He said that Kristen and Thomas Scott would not bring their daughter over to his home. So they are the ones at fault.
After Kristen made the accusation, Byron said that Kristen was trying to make him look like a bad grandfather. So he didn’t want her to be at the wedding. Although Kristen would not receive an invite, he still intended on making sure Thomas got one. So when neither Kristen nor Thomas were seen in any photos from the wedding day, it was speculated Kristen was not invited.
Byron clears it up.
Kristen would later confirm that she was not in attendance. But she still wishes the best for Byron and Cece.
Byron would later confirm some things of his own. When an Instagram follower asked Byron if Kristen and Thomas were at the wedding, he said, “No one came. Only my parents and her parents. That’s it.”
Both Cece and Byron took extra safety measures amid the pandemic.
